The first thing that the reader should keep in mind is the fact that I would not recommend Botach Tactical to anyone!

The next thing that I would like to mention: If you are familiar with the growing number of complaints against this company and how they treat customers, then you just might find this interesting. I have a lot to say!

On 5/22/06, my wife was placing an order on the Internet when she announced that she was tired and asked if I would finish up? I thought she had checked this company out so I went ahead and completed the order. The typical E-mail confirmations came in and I figured all was well.

Two days later, I started wondering what was going with the order so I decided to check out the reviews for Botach Tactical.

Wow, I was shocked at the number of complaints being listed and I thought to myself, Oh my God, what have I done?

Botach Tactical had over 500 complaints on the Internet from Racists, Police Officers, and your typical average person! (Members of my family, including myself, have had to put up with discrimination and I will notice it and say something about it... )

I am not a big fan of the Better Business Bureau and realize that they are not much different from the Mafia, but I decided to see what they had to say. Botach Tactical had 149 complaints in less than three years and had an F' rating. (You really have to screw up to get that bad of a rating from the BBB. If Botach Tactical was a BBB member, would that 'F' rating show?)

I also noticed that Botach Tactical did not respond to over half of the BBB complaints! (How many complaints would show if they became a member?)

I then went back and started reading the complaints on the Internet and noticed some very disturbing patterns. The people who posted complaints were all basically saying the same thing. It basically matched the Los Angeles Better Business Bureaus report.

I also noticed that Botach Tactical would occasionally respond to the complaints and what they said was not good. Botach Tactical blamed the customer. Botach Tactical claimed that the customer was difficult. Botach Tactical claimed that they stopped responding after the customer's confrontational phone calls the list goes on and on. In other words, I was seeing the typical tactics of a company that has issues.

(If you have ever dealt with the online East Coast Camera Shops that advertise super low prices and trick people into thinking that the item is in stock ready to go that is what Botach Tactical reminds me of.)

When I saw that they were open, I called and after a short wait spoke with Jose. I don't know if it is correct or not, but you get a sense about the person your speaking with and **** was the type of person who took pride in doing a good job.

I explained what I had read on the BBB site and Internet and asked what was going on with the order. He told me that he would call me back with more information. I replied that I would be back in two hours.

Two hours later he called back and said he found two of the items and would call back with more information, that the other two items would probably have to be shipped by the supplier/manufacture. He confirmed that I would get tracking numbers for the packages.

He called back a second time and said that the order went out to the supplier that I would get the tracking numbers.

About an hour later, I got online and used the Botach Tactical live chat feature to confirm what I was being told. Again, I explained my concerns and asked about the tracking numbers. I also asked about the E-mails that said, Drop Ship.' I had to ask several times what drop ship meant and finally was told that it meant that the manufacturer would ship the remaining order. I was also told that I would receive the tracking numbers for all packages. That Botach Tactical would contact the manufacturer and then E-mail the information back to me.

It was after this that I decided that I wouldn't be calling Botach Tactical; I just had a bad feeling.

Later on Wednesday the 24th, I received an E-mail that the entire order had been shipped. So I E-mailed back asking for the Tracking numbers for all packages. Botach Tactical provided that Tracking Number for the first package they shipped, but claimed that I would get the Tracking Number on Thursday after they contacted the Manufacturer.

Thursday came and you guessed it, No Tracking Number.' I wrote back and told them to cancel the order. Botach Tactical claimed they couldn't, they wrote that I would get the tracking number on Friday. (It was at this time that I started sending copies of Botach Tactical E-mails directly to the Attorney General I clearly stated that a copy of the E-mail was being sent to the AG's office.)

Friday came and went with no tracking number. Well after Botach closed on Friday, I then faxed off complaints to the Attorney Generals in California and Ohio (Yes, I know a big waste of time.)

I also E-mailed Yahoo about Botach Tactical and found out some disturbing information.

I asked Yahoo Shopping if they bothered to check out the companies on there site. They never answered the question because they don't. They also said that they offered protection for purchases et cetera. When I wrote back that there was a problem, Yahoo Shopping claims of Protection' disappeared.

After the Holiday weekend, the package from the manufacturer was delivered on Tuesday. After seeing that the quality of the product was not that great, I fired off a fax to the manufacture asking why they wouldn't provide the tracking numbers to the shipper.

I also IM'd Botach Tactical about retuning the item and this is when I found out that the 100% Guarantee was just words and had no meaning what so ever.

(It should be mentioned that Botach Tactical IM Live Chat' service is just that it is a service by a third party independent company called liveperson.net and you're really not dealing with Botach Tactical.)

Later, I received an E-mail saying:

This is ****** from botach tactical, return dept just got back to me and they told me that they cannot send you a return label because we did ship the right case, the only problem with it is that you just didn't like it, so you have to send it back to us and as soon as we get it we'll issue your refund.

I never asked for a shipping label!

Today, the Manufacture called me back and asked about the Fax I sent. The manufacture then told me that Botach Tactical had the information all along. All I had to do was go to their Website and type in the order number.

Botach Tactical knew this all along!

(The package that Botach Tactical shipped was delivered and it was OK.)

When I checked the order, I could see very clearly that Botach Tactical could have cancelled it. The package was not shipped until Friday evening East Coast time.

Botach Tactical lied, made false statements and made false promises to their customer!

There were only two things that I asked Botach Tactical what was with all the complaints? What are the Tracking Numbers for the all of the packages?

I didn't make any demands and I didn't ask for discounts. All I asked for was proof that the package was shipped! They lied about when it shipped.

They lied about a lot of things!
