Complaint Review: Broadstar
Broadstar is terrible, constantly experience blackouts and loss of signal. Gainesville, Florida
The company does not offer any sort or digital cable options (DVRs) even though their rates are just as expensive as cable companies that do provide these services. This company has consistent signal interruptions for no apparent reason. Some channels are frozen or blacked out for weeks, and when the company is informed of this their response is "we haven't had any other customers complain," even though this is fabricated because my neighbors also called, it is also irrelevant because I am complaining now. There is signal loss even during very light rain.
Clearly they are just charging customers to use dish network services because when channels go out or are removed from the lineup, a message from dish network appears with a phone number to call dish network. Also, the price on our bill is never consistent and none of the employees or managers can explain or give us a itemized bill for our services.
The Internet is extremely slow and they advertise and price it as high speed Internet. The channels they offer are very limited and often change channels or drop networks without any notification.
