We should really learn the first time.

My truck broke down last year, I took it to Brown and Brown in Mesa, AZ. They fixed the fuel pump and charged me $800.00. I paid it.

Sunday my truck broke down again. Same exact symptoms as last time. I paid $65 to have it towed to Brown and Brown, because the fuel pump is still warranteed.

They called me and told me that my battery has leaked acid on the battery cable and eaten through it, causing it not to start. Your total will be $480.00 for a new battery and a new cable.

I said "NO" you will not charge me that much for fixing a battery cable and a new battery.
I called Auto Zone and the total for all parts was $109.00 Maximum.

I then had a friend take me to get my truck, with a tow strap, and Brown and Brown charged me $96.00 for 1 hour of labor.

I paid them $96.00 for raising the hood on my truck.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the battery or the cable.

They completely lied to me to get my money and still didn't do anything to fix the problem. I am afraid to take it back to them even if it is the fuel pump. They will just lie to me to get my money for some other made up reason.

I called a mechanic. He will make a house call tomorrow. Wish I would have known him 3 days ago.
