Bruce Berman Unethical ripoff Newport Beach California

Bruce Berman has been on television advertising his free book. "Just $3.95 shipping and handling". For $3.95 I figured I would see what he was about. I got the book in the mail (nothing else) and then noticed a $99.90 charge on my credit card statement. This charge was never authorized! I never ordered anything but the free book and I never received anything but the free book.

Searching online, I have found that this appears to be fairly typical of the way Berman does business. It seems that if you can get your money back from him, he has at least found a way to borrow money for several months for free without paying any interest. If he was ethical and this was some kind of error, you would think that a 'great business man' would have fixed the problem the first time it occured.

This is highly unethical and a complete scam. Some received software and CD's with their book saying that they had 30 days to review it and then would be charged. The 30 days started from the time they ordered, not received the package. As for me, I repeat . . . I never received anything but the book and was still charged $99.90!
