I ordered a case of 60 pr. of flip flops from this company, I am a new startup business, and I met the minimum order.  I spent about $174 on this transaction, and was looking forward to receiving the flip flops at such a low "per piece" price.  I'd done business with other wholesalers, and had no problems at all.

A week after placing the order, I had not received shipping confirmation so I called to check on the shipment.  I was told by a man who seemed very abrupt and impatient with me, "what was your order number"...I told him it was 29(whatever, but four digits) and he laughed and said "lady, that means there were 29(one number less than mine) ahead of you.  Okay...so when will it be shipped?  He said "oh next week probably".  Hmmm.

3 weeks later, nothing, so I called back.  We had the most bizarre, almost crazy converstion.  He told me I'd insulted him by "talking about other wholesalers, that is very unprofessional" (I had told him I'd ordered from others, and never a problem with communication until him).  He told me that he'd likely just cancel my account.  He changed his story a couple of times, the first excuse was that the order was in customs on a big crate.  He said we do not like to deal with small operations like mine, because we didn't understand importing.  Then he said he'd check on it, and if it wasn't being shipped *tomorrow*, he'd call me back.  Of course no call and it's now been a week and a half.  I ordered on June 2, I've heard nothing other than these calls, nor received anything in the way of merchandise or communication, the order still shows "process" and it's now June 29.

The guy is very strange and rude.  He claimed that he does business with large companies such as Walmart, and that "Everything comes from China".  He said he was the largest importer on the East Coast.  He said "Go to Dollardays.com and THEY buy from us".

Today I was going to call and check on things again, but decided to google "buymerchant.com complaints" and wow, here are other reports, as well as on other sites.  I do believe this guy is a scam, I do believe I will never get my order, and I hope someone will pursue this legally.  I think it's possible that it could be even worse, perhaps identity theft (not accusing, just suggesting the possibility).  My sister actually paid for my order with her credit card, and has some money missing, we will investigate that deeper today.

In any case, I highly recommend that people AVOID this site, do not order from them, and I would like to know if any of the other complaintants ever received an order from this place.
