Capella University is brutal, money hungry, powerful school, which only cares about filling their pocket with student loans in Internet

The school has great marketing strategy to lure hard working, adult, intelligent students to their program. Even their treatment  with the student is very interactive in the beginning, but once a student has invested enough money into their future, the support slowly fades away and in some case they find bogus reason to dismiss students.

In my opinion, they accept any student even if their intention is not to eventually graduate them. 

Capella is outrageously corrupt and makes a fortune off the students.

This I say because I have completed 100% of the degree requirement towards a Psy.D degree and three weeks before I was supposed to have graduatedthey accused me of bogus violation and dismissed me from school.  I appealed, but nothing happened because the committee members who reviewed my case all were employee of Capella.  Also, their graduating student ratio is poor.

I learned that 3 out of 24 students have graduated from other program and many more have been dismissed for bogus reason, leaving students to pay the huge student loans that they have taken.   I spend over $128,000.00 towards my degree and at the end; I had nothing to show for. 

They had the burden to dismiss me long before I got to the end, if I was not fit for the degree, but  I was competent
to complete the program, but they still dismissed me.  In my opinion they had different motive (maybe meeting their statistics to dismiss students) so they dismissed me. 

In my opinion the mentors and instructors are useless and will not advocate for you.where else would instructors and mentors get full paid vacations to places like Scottsdale, AZ with our moneyCAPELLA.   

I agree with other student who wrote, In fact, they can and will ignore you as long as possible and only address your concerns if they must which is to prove they made an attempt at due process. There isn't anything of the kind there and if you don't like their incompetence they can and will discriminate against you. This is exactly what has happened to me.

They accused me of having poor judgment because I am a woman and I am Indian. Look at their dismissal rate.most of them are females. I actually know 4 females who have been brutally, mistreated by Capella.

I have tried to fight, but I find that there is little we can do to fight them and they have lots of money, which we dont have only because they have taken all our money.  

I was all for online school, but Capella University has burned so many people that now I only tell people to go to regular Campus based school.  If you are spending so much time and money than just work hard to arrange your schedule and go to school at least you will know where you stand and at the end of the process you wont be in a deep hole of money, hope and dark future.
