Capital One Credit Card Did not live up to their agreement. Rip-off! Nationwide

I had a card w/ them where the limit was $200.00. I got behind and asked for a settlement. They told me that 300.00 would settle and I paid this right away. The next week they called and told me that I owed an additional 50.00 after they had settled for 300.00. I refused to pay any more.

They then started to add late fees which eventually rose to about 800.00. This reflected on my credit report and it looks now as if i really owe them this much. I paid as agreed, but no go. They were rude to me when I tried to expalin this over the phone. this company is terrible!!
