Do not sign up for a merchant account with Card Flex. I have over twenty thousand dollars in reserve that they refuse to release. I have found several other companies that have thousands of dollars and a couple that have almost five hundred thousand that Card Flex will not release the reserve money on.

They will not return phone calls when you call in asking about reserve money to be released. If you have had this problem please contact me through this post. I am searching for as many people/companies as I can that has had this happen to them.

Just another lie.

If Cardflex was emailed by someone they would have the contact information.  Seems they are desperate to try and make themselves look good.  There is a reason why everyone is writing complaints about them.  People do not waste their time unless they are upset, fell misled, taken advantage of, and tired of the tactics Cardflex is pulling in screwing over previous owners.  Anyone reading this just continue to search Cardflex scams on the internet and go with your gut.  There are many other companies out there you can use.  One that I have used and had no problems with is Complete Merchant Solutions or CMS.  Always, read the contracts because this is where Cardflex screws you in cancellation fees and early termination fees whether they terminate you or you do it.  They won't give you full disclosure for a reason and then argue that you owe them tens of thousands of dollars.

Regarding Complaints on CardFlex Inc.

Along with all of its positives, the Internet allows dangerous people to post false
claims against good people and companiesand to do so anonymously. Thats what
we believe has happened here.

Despite several attempts to work with this anonymous poster, CardFlex has been unable
to even identify the poster or the company he/she claims to represent. Instead,
we get occasional emails that read like ransom notes. The notes make bizarre
accusations, demand varied sums of money, and offer no information to work
from. Don't ask me to call, the poster emailed us this morning. Don't ask
the name of the company.

That makes it difficult to fix anything, of course. And now the anonymous poster has
threatened to expand his/her attacks to include the very employees who have
offered to help.

The anonymous poster has the phone numbers and emails of the several CardFlex
managers who have offered assistance. We remain ready to resolve this issue.

Cardflex only holds reserves until the risk abates.

AUTHOR: Dave - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, February 21, 2011

Cardflex like all other merchant processor form time to time has to hold in reserve monies collected from the merchant due to; poor credit, business type or associated risk.

This reserve is held in escrow by the processing bank not Cardflex and is refunded to the merchant six months after the account is closed by the merchant.  This reserve is necessary to offset any chargebacks initiated by the merchant's customers.

If a merchant is put on a reserve program it is becasue they did not qualify for an account without one.  This particular merchant (like all other merchants on reserve) filled out a three page reserve agreement outlining; why they were on reserve, how much the reserve was and when they would get the reserve back.  The merchant agreed to this and signed it in order to accept credit cards at their place of business.

The merchant is now demanding money back which has to be escrwoed to offset any future liabilities that the merchant may have incurred in the course of doing business.

All reserve monies (less chargebacks) will be refunded from the escrow account six months after the merchant closes his account.

Feel free to contact me for any further clarification.  Cardflex is a transparent company and is proud of our record with our merchants.
