Cat's Meow A Total Rip Off! Wallingford Connecticut

 I am complaining on behalf of my Aunt who is elderly, and doesn't own a computer. She sent away for a cat toy as a result of watching a tv commerical. The name of the co. is Cat's Meow. I was at her home earlier today when the box arrived.

The box was large which I thought was strange because the toy isn't all that big. When I opened it up, there were three boxes which contained a total of 4 cat toys and 2 keyboards. She didn't ask for 4 toys, and certainly didn't ask for keyboards since she has no computer.

There was no invoice in the box, and when she called her credit card co., she found out that they had charged her a total of 92.00.

The credit card co. gave her the phone number of "Cat's Meow", and when she called, the lady she spoke to played dumb like she had no idea why 4 toys and two keyboards were shipped. My aunt asked her "What am I gonna do with two keyboards when I don't have a computer. The lady told her to find someone to give them to.

This is nothing but a big ripoff! That surprise gift they advertise on the commerical is not free, you will pay for it!

How can they justify a 19.95 plus shipping and handling charge by taking 92.00 from one's credit card? She has one cat which certainly doesn't need 4 of the same toy. Consumers beware, don't get caught up in this rip off trap!
