I fell for this company's bait and switch because they used Oprah as a testimonial to their product. They also clearly state on their home page of Acai-Pure that a full refund for any reason and no questions asked would be given if I was not satisfied. Nowhere did it even hint that you were automatically signing up for recurring charges. And, it never implies a 15% restocking fee!

You had to click on their "Terms and Conditions" in small print at very bottom of their webpage. They did not ask you to refer to them before ordering or mention them. Even at that, they do not follow their own "Terms and Conditions."

It says your 14-day trial begins when you receive the product. Wrong. It took me 3 weeks to even get it. They say to return unused portion before end of the 14-day trial, but they tell you when you call that they mean it must be in their possession before the end of the 14 days.

Now you tell me...how do you try something to see if it works...and then get it shippped back to them before 14 days are up. That's just for starters.

The real scam is that they charged my credit card before the 14 days I was told I would have after receiving the product. Not only that, they also signed me up for Fit-Factory membership that also billed my credit card for $29.95 and would be a recurring charge.

I never heard of this other company, nor does it mention them anywhere in their Terms and Conditions. So now I have a second company billing my credit card. I called to cancel and report this scam; of course, they said it was in the agreement, which it is not. They said it would take 3 weeks for my bank to put the money back...I told them I didn't use a debit card but a credit card.

You see, I already filed a fraud claim with the credit card company. They have issued me a new card and put a block on the old number. That will stop them from charging me further, even if they won't cancel my fraudulently claimed membership with Fit-Fac or further charges by Nutraceuticals.

I've seen years of reports about this company. I want to know how they stay in business? Where is our Better Business Bureau or our Attorney General? Why is no one shutting them down?
