Century Legal Group Chris Whitman, Frank Lewis, Charles Mezzatesta, Autumn Harcum Took $3500 fee and never did anything that can be be construed as contacting my mortgage holder or their servicing company in assisting me in my fight to stop foreclosure Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I contacted Century Legal Group after seeing their online advertisement in helping individuals with foreclosure problems. Was contacted almost immediatley. Had me fill out some e-forms and provide them with financial documents concerning my income and home mortgage. Told me that the fee is $3500.00 and that it would be payable by direct payment from my bank to them in 5 bi-weekly installments commencing on 2-07-14 and final payment being made on 4-04-14. Payments were all made on time but I never heard another thing from them until I called the office in early June. Spoke with a Chris Whitman and denanded the return of my money as they had not made any contact with my mortgage holder on my behalf. He turned me over to a new rep as the two previous reps, he said, were no longer working there as they had not been fulfilling their job duties. The female I spoke with began asking for documents concerning my income but then relaized they already had them. Whitman said I would be contacted each week with an update. Never heard from them again. By the 2nd week of July, 2014, after not hearing from them anymore, I sent a letter demanding that my money be returned in full by July 26, 2014, as they had not fulfilled the contract I had with them. On July 22nd, I got an email from a Frank Lewis at CLG and he stated they had spent a lot of time putting together documents on my case so, according with the signed agreement, they did not have to and would not return my money.

I filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Office in Harrisburg on 8-08-2014. I am also going to file a complaint with the FBI - Internet Fraud Division, Pennsylvania Bar Assoc. and the Better Business Bureau as well as the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

I am a retired Florida Law Enforcement Officer. If they, CLG, wants to try and retaliate against me for this or any other report, let 'em, I have ways of handling those that try and they won't fair well!
