Charterone Bank I was robbed twice and Charterone participated in second time!!!! Wadsworth Ohio

In May my van was broken into. My youngest child of ten children is disabled and I had broken my foot so we had a handicap sticker. The theives took my sons medication and specialized formula as well as a bag with my bank account info. We filed a police report after many problems because Cleveland Police told us it was not worth their time and money. The next day we went to our bank who had us open a shadow account while we change our direct deposit from both employers, etc.

A few weeks later we received the insurance check for a small reimbursement of our damages. We deposited it in our new account and both accounts were frozen!! We could not get money out for food to feed the children or gas for work. After alot of yelling because they claimed the check was fraudulent we got our money. Then they froze us again and bounced our house payment not once but twice saying we did not have funds and that policy had changed that direct deposit were not available until next business day.

We then received notice of activty on old account. Then they started threatening us that we no longer had use of our bank cards due to bad things happening on the old account. We then could only get money out in person but can use our bank card to get money if need be until money available next business day (this never happened).

Finally we had our account frozen again this week and cannot pay for food or bills and cannot have access to money until we sign paperwork on the fraud. First of this amount is more than what is owed on old account. Second, I have no problem filling out paperwork but this is outright blackmail and we were never asked to do this in the fiirst place. They also said even if we fill this out it will take 10 days for them to give us our money.

We were not robbed once but twice. First by the original theives then by the bank in conjunction with the theives. I am no longer willing to file the report they want due to the way they did this. My money should not be held ransom at my children's expense and we came to them in good faith but were treated like the theives ourselves.
