Checkr background check services Failure to complete background in reasonable time. San Francisco California

The background check company checkr was contracted by Uber to complete a background check. Uber and checkr advertise at background check take normally 5 to 7 days. My background check last year for 2016 took approximately 3 or 4 hours. I have been driving with Uber for more than 2 years with no and fractions with Uber or the legal system.

My background check was started without my permission on September 14th and as of November 30th, today the background check is still not complete. I have emailed both companies more than 20 different times begging them for information as to why my background check is not complete. Checkr refuses to give me any detailed information and States they are waiting on my records.

I have asked them what courthouse they're waiting on so that I can get an attorney involved and find out what the problem is. Both Uber and checkr appear to be hiding information from me. It's been more than 2 months on a simple background check and I am unable to get any legal answers. I have been a very dedicated Uber driver.

My account has been on suspension for this entire duration and I am unable to get a remedy from either company. Checkr continues to give me Cookie Cutter responses and it does not appear that a supervisor will get involved and actually find out what the problem is and therefore Uber will not release my account. This ordeal has cost me an extraordinary amount of money.
