I have been driving my 2004 Ford truck for 3 years now. Never has any of the warning lights come on. Recently the 'check engine' light came on. I pulled over the side of the road right away and checked with my owners manuel.

The owners manuel said that is was becausue the gas was bad. Probably watered down. I knew instantly that was the case because the last time I filled up, I did so at a station that I had never filled up before.

My manuel said to let the gas go thru, then fill up somewhere else next time. That is what I did, and the light went off.

I was not going to report this at first, but then felt it was my duty to do so. I hope you bust that station and make them pay a fine or something.
