PROS:  Affordable and talked a good game on coverage.  

CONS:  My policy srated July 7, 2013.  On July 18, 2013 the housing on the pool pump broke/cracked and was gushing water.   I called Choice Home Warratny to file a claim.  Waited about 8 Minutes to get to someone ot file the claim.  

I was told I would get a call from the contractor.  Two days later no call.  Called back Choice Home Warratny they said they would re-issue the request.  I finally received the call from the servicer that scheuled a call two days out.  They came out and said they would have to file a claim with Choice Home Warratny which they expected that to take another two days plus the weeknd so four days.  I never heard anything.  I called Choice Home Warratn yand they said the claim had been denied.   When I asked ahy they said it was considered cosmetic and they do not cover the pump housing only mechnical failures.  

What???  I have water gushing out of a pump and its only cosmetic?   What a joke.  I buy a homne warratn y because I travel and need to be sure things can get fixed in a timely fashion with as little hassle as possible.  

I called back to speak to a supervisor "Laura"  Who was nice enough but offered no assistance.  I old here I wanted to cancel my policy and get a full refund on my July paymnet and the service call fee.  She put me on hold for 5 minutes then came back and explained I would need to take that up when they called me back from the cancellation department,  Who I have yet to hear from.  

So I have spent about 40 Minuteds on hold and talked to multiple people from there ervicer and the warratny company but nothing got fixed.  I just purchased the housing and fixed it myself for abut $50 bucks.  Stay away from Choice Home Warratny.  I can tell from this one experience this company is a pro at explaining why they are not going to cover any item but want your money anyway.   Rip Off!
