TO: Cindy Heimenz-I can see from your last statement that you are still in need of help for your deep psychological problems.  Too bad you do not realize just how much help you need.  But, believe me, you are not fooling anyone who reads the lies and jibberish that you repeatedly say about many of your past customers and contacts.  I do not believe anything you say, it is all untruthful, whether it is about me, or anyone else.

     This is in regards to the rebuttal posted by Cindy Hiemenz.  Cindy , the rebuttal you posted speaks about your true character.  It is bad enough that you posted all those lies about me, my dogs, husband, etc., but the comments you made about my daughter were totally out of line.  She never did anything to you, yet you attacked her with your cruel lies for no reason.  

Man, I'm Really BUMMED out after reading this mistreatin', cruel, money-lovin' BI*CH tryin' to defend her evil ways by insultin' kids, insultin' marriage, insultin' orphans and all else that is Decent, Good and Noble about Humanity! The facts:

*You are Julie of  .  By profession a Police Seargent.
*Your husband, much to your senior, is Frederick of the same address.  By profession an attorney practicing out of your home.
*Your daughter, at the time, a quirky, unattractive, overweight teenager with extremely poor hygiene skills.  By your own admission, facts you boldly stated whenever she accompanied you.

*It is true that you boarded your dogs at our beautiful facility located on 40 acres 3 blocks back on a private pine tree lined road.  As a matter of fact you boarded them well over 10 times. 
*You drove over 1 hour just to bring them to me because you knew they would be well taken care of. 

*Yes, you purchased both of your gorgeous dogs from me.

*Your dog Gendarme's name was Proudly displayed as your Vanity license plate on your sparkling new black  Cadillac Escalade.
*The Meaning of Gendarme: in continental Europe, particularly in France, a uniformed and armed police officer!

*You absolutely adored Gendarme repeatedly stating that he was the Love of Your Life and you were so proud of him.  And that whenever he was present all eyes were on the 2 of you.  Naturally you loved that attention.

*Gendarme was a strong, extremely impressive, substantial, healthy "Real" GSD male.

Over the River & Thru the Woods to Grandmothers House we Go...
Julie never had control over the dogs when she arrived.  She usually just let go of the leashes.  Naturally I then braced myself as they charged towards me and lathered me with kisses.  I assumed that they were just happy to see me which was so often the case when our dogs returned for visits.  I suggested she do some private k9 handling lessons with me on several occassions.  She always assured me they were not like this elsewhere.
She stated that as soon as they get off the expressway they start to get excited.  The private driveway brings them to uncontrollable excitement.  MY WHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE!

*After the fact and incident I contacted the GS Dog Club where you trained weekly.
You were known as "The Cop Who Couldn't Handle the K9".  It was reported by club members that many times you had been seen in the parking lot repeatedly whacking your dog Gendarme across the snout with a rubber hose or stick prior to entering the building.  There even was a time when he was bleeding and you made up an excuse.

*Abuse creates distrust.  An animal can only have 2 responses.  Fight or Flight.
When an animal or child for that matter is abused by the hands of the one that he is supposed to feel safe with it creates great conflict.  Eventually the dog or child may retaliate.
I believe that is what happened at our kennel. 

The Incident:
The teenager who got bit lived with his poor grandmother who was on a small pension.
His mother had died.  He was very animated and a happy teenager despite the cards life had laid out for him.  He was simply retrieving the empty dog food bowls from the kennels after breakfast.  It was unprovoked.  He simply grabbed the bowls and lifted his arm up.  Apparently Gendarme irrationally assumed that he was about to be struck as had probably happened so many times before. 

Retrieving your Dogs the Next Day:
A small tree had fallen across the road.  Not uncommon.  Certainly I did not construct a Road Block.  It was early in the morning so it hadn't been removed yet. 
The boy was not there because he was at home in pain.  You saw the photos, and had a copy of the bill.  You refused to pay the $850.00 which was to be done directly to the hospital.  Shame on you.

You came with a police officer & your daughter.  There were 5 of us there.  We brought you your dogs.  We wanted cash for the boarding fees because I knew you would try to avoid that payment as well.  Julie was well know as a bargaining type.
I never threatened to shoot you, that's ridiculous.  You're the one with the gun which you so showed us when you arrived.  By the way we did all chuckle about that later.

The Vet Visit with Gendarme:
The purpose of the vet visit is to check for Rabies after the bite.  The dog must remain quarantined for 10 days either at the kennel, the clinic, or at the owners home.
Vets are not trained, nor do they perform a Temperament Test. That's ridiculous. They simply do an exam to see if Rabies is suspected.   They then do it again 10 days later.

Owner Responsibilty:
All boarding contracts state that the owner is responsible for any harm or damage the animal may cause. Julie Schwerdtner signed that contract everytime she came.

The Financial Ability to do the Right Thing:
Sgt. Julie Schwerdtner & her husband attorney Frederick Schwerdtner pulled in a combined income of well over $250,000.00.  How would I know that?  She boasted about it repeatedly.  Her income alone was over $78,000.00. It has also been published online.

Julie's Moral decision Not to Do the Right Thing:
Although they clearly had well above the means to pay for the misfortunate incident of a mere $850.00, Julie Refused to Pay.  She had seen photos, documents, etc.  She's also a mother.  How would she feel if that happened to her daughter?

Should he sue the Schwerdtners?
Yes, he should have.  As a matter of fact I believe the statute of limitations is not up yet.
That happened 4 years ago.  Yes, he asked me my opinion.  My response was just this simple...

My Advice:
I said sweetheart...that's totally up to you.  I will of course assist you.
However I am of the mindset that "I Prefer To Step Over s**t than In It!"

Stepping Up to The Plate:
I paid his bill and also his time off for a week.

After 4 Years...
Julie writes this.  Not even brave enough to sign her name.  A coward behind the shield.
She took an oath as Police Officer: To Serve and Protect 
She is also a mother.
Due to her abusive ways her dog harmed an Orphaned teenager.
She had the Financial Means to Make it Right.
All the documents were presented to her as well as pictures of the wounds.
She chose not to!
She should shame herself!
 
Not sure what her newest problem is.  She didn't have to pay.
But she also lost the boarding priviledges and the ability to get another dog from us in the future.  Gendarme would now be a senior.  I can only assume that he has passed or is ill, or something else is triggering Julie's outlandish claims!  I have not spoken to her since the incident.  She has no knowledge of my life. 

In the meantime...
The States Attorney is being Contacted regarding Slander & Libel as well as her place of employment.  Her behavior is unprofessional and childish.

If our Boarding was so bad why did she come over 10 times?  She had also purchased a 2nd dog.  It wasn't until the attack where she would have to pay that our business relationship failed.  Prior to that she had discussed getting a 3rd dog from us. 

Anger and vengence is often fear and guilt which has lost it's way.  Her letter is quite transparent.

At any given time Julie could have chosen or could still choose to do the right thing.
This is just another Poor Decision on Her Part.

I hope that someday Julie finds Peace amongst her demons and guilt.
