Circuit City internet sales not honored 2 days after you received a confirmation e-mail. Richmond Virginia

I purchased a Sony Walkman MP3 player online from CircuitCity.com. It showed available so I ordered 2. I didn't want to wait for Black Friday because I really wanted these MP3 players advertized at $80.00 off reg. price only $49.99 with an emusic Gift Card for $.01 each. I got a confirmation e-mail on 11/27/08 @ 612pm I checked CircuitCity.com on Black Friday to see if the price went down and saw the item soldout so I was happy I bought it on Thursday. Then Friday night 11/28/09 @ 848pm I got another e-mail that my order was ready to ship and that 1 box shipped with a tracking number. Thinking all is good I didn't think about it again until on 11/29/08 1002pm and another e-mail @ 1018pm both stated they were sorry to tell me the item(s) were outof stock. I called circuitcity.com Customer Support at 1-800-593-4361 and was given a case numbe and told to call back on Monday 12/02/08 after several calls I got transfered to corporate and was told there was nothing they could or would do about it.

At the same time I was on the phone ith them I searched their web-ste and found the same Sony Walkman MP3 player available for sale at $119.99 the customer service agent said that I should buy it at that price since it shows available. What a rip-off, they flat refused to sell me the item at the internet sale price of $49.99 and the price didn't change until today 12/01/08 I consider this a SCAM a rip-off and will never buy from them. I always considered CircuitCity before I would (((Redacted))) or any other electronics store. I will not anymore.
