Circuitcity.com online ripoff, ordered DVDs ans merchandse for 250$, never recieved 1/2 of it, they wont resend it, only let me APPLY for a refund Online Mississippi

on 11-23-03 I ordered 4 items totalling $250.00 from Circuitcity.com. They were advertising a 10% gift card rebate for all online purchases totalling over 200$. I was charged the whole amount on the day I ordered it on my credit card. I never received 2 of the items.

I emailed the online customer service and requested that they check the status of my order. It all showed shipped from separate addresses on 11-24-03. I received 2 items on December 3rd.On Dec 15th. I reported the issue to customer service online. They told me they could not reissue the items and that I could not get the 10% merchandise card for the purchase because it was not in effect even though it showed up on my purchase and was still being advertised when I made he purchase.

I re-requested them to resend the items because I have passed up all the sales for these items since I had already ordered it online. They responded the same way. i will have to apply for a refund and they refuse to reship the items, they cant even verify that the items were ever sent. They are rude, took my money, dont even want to refund it for not receiving the items. Now I may not even be able to find the items before Christmas.

I cant find the corporate address. The 2 customer service reps who wrote me had very foreign names and it must be in another country. I will NEVER do business with them again. I have never had a problem with our local store in Jackson, Mississippi and every problem I ever had was resolved instantly. the manager there is wonderful. I wish I hadnt been sick and I could have been out shopping instead of doing it online. Circuit City - Bestbuy online is totally dishonest! Don't buy from them, go to the local store!
