My business partner and I purchased a vehicle on December 6, 2012 that was advertised on a national forum.  After speaking to the vehicle advertiser/poster CJ Brossett on the phone, he stated to bring a cashier's check for $39,000 made out in his name in order to purchase the vehicle.  He stated that he did not owe much to Ford Motor Credit and would have it paid off and title sent to him to be signed, then sent to us.

We met CJ at his Trailer Park Chopper Shop the morning of the 6th.  We took the vehicle for a test drive and agreed to purchase the vehicle.

We went to his office at Brossett Corp on 1300 Hudson Lane Suite 7 Monroe, LA to sign a Bill of Sale and hand over the cashier's check.  We return to his shop where we then loaded the vehicle onto our trailer and proceeded on the eight hour drive back home.

After a few weeks, we contacted CJ about the title, and were told that his secretary was in charge of paying it off.  A week later, still nothing was done.  Ford Motor Credit was contacted.  The vehicle was behind on payments and a single payment was made to Ford to keep the vehicle from going into repossession.  We also found out that the name on the loan is James Brossett, CJ Brossett's father.

James David Brossett was contacted, and stated that he was unaware that CJ had sold the vehicle.  James stated that he would have something figured out by Tuesday January 29, 2013 to pay the remaining lien balance.  He now states that he will need more time in order to pay the vehicle off.  The cashier's check given to CJ has been cashed and spent.  The vehicle should have been paid in full nearly two months ago with our money to purchase it.  Our money was stolen from CJ and was not used to pay off the loan.

Legal action against James D. Brossett and possible criminal action against CJ Brossett will be taken in order to receive the title.

Cj brossett had my best friend killed. He literally smashed a car into a pole then put my friend in the car and set it on fire. No one saw him for 3 weeks after that. The police never investigated it. Justice needs to be served. I have personally seen him and 2 other guys come into a local bar and beat a guy to death with a margarita machine. They literally took the body, car, and left. It was one of the most horrible things i have ever seen. How is he still running around free???

Be careful.

I met cj is the fall of 06 when he came to Arizona. My brother and I got involved in a real estate project with him. We knew already he was a grey area guy, but he moved fast and never had any excuses. He seemed like a get it done guy. We all did well with the project. A few months later we decided we could handle it without his grey areas. We approached him with a buyout offer and he calmly said no. He told us this was his project and and if someone was going it was going to be us. We declined and hired a attorney to deal with it.

A few weeks later my brother was abducted from his home in Mesa,az and was found in Mexico beaten and stashed in a zeta cartel controlled prison. I got a call from him begging to let it go and take the money. I went to cj's house and he seemed upset at what had happened. He said he had absolutely no involvement and wished he could help. He said it with that smug look he always had when someone did something that was not in his best Interest.

My brother was eventually returned during a raid 7 months later. My brother can no longer walk without a wheelchair and has trouble speaking due to severe head trauma. Why I can't directly prove his involvement in the matter. Given his family history in the mob it does raise to question. Not to mention the dozens of other complaints about him. Why he never ripped us off. He certainly doesn't need to be out having people abducted and thrown in Mexican prisons because they want a change. I do believe he has some involvement with cartel and American mob activity. We contacted the Local FBI office as well as local police about the matter. Nothing ever materialized from it.
