I signed up with the company for a clearwire wireless broadband plan. I made very clear to ask the sales rep that I was in 6 months to leave the country and if it would make a difference to any plan I chose. He told me very clearly that if I moved somewhere without clearwire service, then I could cancel without any problems and without any hidden fees.
When I finally canceled my service because i moved and there wasn't any clearwire service, I was slapped with recoup costs for the promotional plan I chose and the activation fee. The customer service would not budge and would not honor the sales associate's word. Now i'm out major money because the sales person lied to me and the company is not honoring his words.
