Coast Dental Lied to me and charged me for things I wasn't even aware of Alpharetta Georgia

I called Coast Dental to make an appointment and they said we have a time tomorrow. So I went in the next day and the office was empty and the ladies at the front desk said oh we're closed today and I said well someone scheduled me for today. And the lady was arguing with me because she said tomorrow and not wednesday. Those words don't sound anything alike. But I went with it. So I show up for my appointment the next day and waited for about 30 minutes before I was called back. I was asked to fill out the new patient info and I told the lady I did that already and she was like well I'm gonna have to find it. So far they've scheduled me on the wrong day and now misplaced my paper work with all my personal information on it. I get called back and the hygentist wasn't so nice. I sit in the chair and she straps a blood pressue mointor on my wrist and I'm like is this something new, I've never had this done. And the lady just snapped at me and was like this is a law that was put in place 10 years ago. So as you can see taking blood pressure in a chair is awkward and it isn't going to have a acurate reading.

So she did it two times and was like you need to be on blood pressure medication. And I said it's never high. Then she did xrays, and it took forver because I have a small mouth and she kept shoving these large things in my mouth and I kept gagging because of my small mouth. Then after she looks in my mouth she says I need a deep cleaning which would be $100 since my insruance doesn't cover it. I'm not entierly sure if they even checked. They talk me into signing up for care credit because I didn't have $230 to drop on a cleaning that was supposed to be a normal cleaning that my insurance covers for free. After sitting in the chair for 2 hours they finally come in and clean my teeth and it was this horrible pain of scraping. The dentist comes in and does this oral cancer screening and I had never had that done. I don't smoke or drink or do any type of drug to cause oral cancer. That screening was looking at my mouth with a flashlight and that cost $70. I could have done that myself for free.

They also did a HIV test which I didn't know about and that cost $15. I asked the hygentist if I had any cavities and she said no. So I left and they had scheduled me for another cleaning 2 weeks later. I decided to cancel and go to a different dental practice. So this week of March 15th I went and got a cleaning done and was told I have 4 cavities that are pretty bad and need to be taken care of. As you can imagine I'm very confused because I was told I didn't have any. 3 hours and $135 later at this new practice I have 4 fillings done. If Coast Dental would have told me I had cavities this wouldn't have happened. If they didn't want to treat me they could have just told me they didn't want to deal with it. Instead of lying to my face that I had cavities. Coast dental never returns any of my calls, they had mentioned they were going to call me to go over the insurance payment, but I haven't heard. I don't bother calling because they're so rude to me. And now I'm stuck with a $230 bill for things I didn't want or even need done. I don't think it's legal to charge people for things if you don't mention what you're doing to them. I will never go back to Coast Dental.
