This store is filled with thieves, liars and criminals. I went to look at glasses there for my mother because her insurance company referred her to the location. She went for her exam and then came out only to be bombarded by a double talking salesman. My mother is on a fixed income and I told him that she only wanted the glasses that her insurance would pay for, but that if she really needed something else I would pay them.

This guy kept insisting that she try new lenses she's never used as opposed to her bifocal glassses. I told him that my mother was almost 70 and that she was fine with the bifocal type glasses she's worn for over 15 years. He basically started putting me down and saying that I was uneducated and didn't know what I was talking about.

Needless to say we left without ordering glasses. I then called my mother's insurance company and complained about this store. They called the store and said that the store should have just given my mother the glasses her insurance would cover.

I got a call later that day from Evi? Avi? Ovi? I'm not sure of the name, but he sounded middle eastern and spoke with an accent. He said he was the owner and I thought he was going to apologize and try to fix the situation. Instead he began yelling at me and just like his employee, putting me down and saying I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. I told him that I didn't like how he was speaking to me and that if I were there in person he probably wouldn't be so insulting. He then threatened me and said, "why don't you just come down here and we'll see how tough you are." I told him that I wasn't looking to fight (how childish) and then he made a comment that I should watch what I say because he knows where I live.

What a sicko! This guy is obviously a crook and a scumbag. I never threatened him or did anything other than complain about his rude and obnoxious employee. In addition to this report, I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau and talking to my cousin who is a NYC police officer to see what kind of business this jerk is really running.
