Coloinal would rather evicte a family of five onto the streets than to make 700.00 in repairs to my home. The floor in the kitchen are falling into the floor and the tile has started to seperate from the floor boards. I have tripped over a piece of tile and fell into my bedroom door. I was told that they didn't have to repair this because it is a cosmtic issue. I am fighting this company but, I am having a hard time due to not having an ATTORNEY. The judges in this area frown upon those who are PRO SE. We found MOLD in our bathroom and was told that it was mildew. They repaired the entire bathroom wall but, skipped right over the peeling tile.

It is UNETHICAL for a company to continue to treat their tenants the way that they do. And after all of this; THEIR GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS HOME!!!!

The floors falling in, the bathroom tub falling into the floor, the piling tile, the carpet coming up and exposing nails,the bathroom toilet running, the loss of water pressure, paint left on windows and the HUGE HOLE IN MY BEDROOM DOOR. I have emailed the news, I have even gone down to the news station and showed them pictures of the conditions in my home. NOTHING!NOTHING! NOTHING! I am still waiting. Then to have their attorney being an old attorney of mine(he represented me in an auto cause.) This man helped me to get my car fixed and still holds one of my children's trust accounts until she turns 18.

WHAT ARE WE THE PEOPLE TO DO ABOUT THIS? They say grin and bare it. I say NO! I am tired of paying someone else's house note and not being able to be comfortable behide my closed doors. To come home from a long days work and to trip over a peeling tile and being told that it is only a COSMTIC ISSUE. Now I have an ISSUE. FIX MY HOME!!!!! You put up a FOR RENT SIGN in the front of my house. You haven't even made repairs but, your so ready to put it on the market as VACANT. MAKE REPAIRS!!!!!

Stop taking our money saying that your going to make repairs and don't make any. We don't deserve to live this way. Would you live in my home COLOINAL without making repairs? No. Well then come and fix my home so that we can get past this ISSUE. Now, where am I going to take my children with you black balling me from renting from alot of companies in this area? We will probable live on the streets. What do I tell my children? Are RENTAL company felt that it would be easier on them if they just EVICTE us than to make repairs.

HELP ME! HELP ME! This company is making me lose my mind. I hve no legal counsel, no help and it seems like no one cares because it's not happening to them. This could be anyone of you. It might haave happened to someone that you know. It could be your mother, father sister, brother and friends. GOD has given me the things so far for what I need to do but, their are somethings that the people need to do in order for this to STOP. We need to stand up and fight for our rights to have rental property managements to stand up and fix their homes or stop taking our money.

To be put out and then turn around and charge me for what I didn't do. WHOA!! OH YEAH, they will black ball you from renting from alot of agents in the aea. I grew up here. Where am I supposed to go? This woman had been evicted in February 2009 by a Justice of the Peace in Killeen, Texas for not paying her rent. She appealed her eviction with a pauper's appeal. The appeal was not heard by a County Judge until July 31, 2009 (Bell County, Texas). (public record)

During this time, she was supposed to pay the rent to the County Registry every month until trial. In the 4 months of waiting for trial, she put only 1 payment in the registry, and that wasn't even the full amount of one month's rent. This information is available, see for yourself, (Colonial Real Estate & Property Mgmt. vs. Suzette Rogers & All Occupants 2009). (cause #64, 143-0), (Bell County, Texas)

County Court found her to be violative of her appeal, and her contract.

She had repeatedly refused to honor her contract, and pay rent. The homeowners had spent nearly $4,000 in repairs while this woman and her family lived there. The homeowner's spent nearly $3,000 before she moved in. The homeowners paid to fix many items in this house from damage done by her and her family. All health and safety issues were fixed, and numerous cosmetic issues as well, all documented.

She had numerous non-sufficient funds checks, and did not pay on time for most of her lease term.

She has sued the homeowners and Colonial twice, and lost. She had protested us while she was still in the home and after being evicted by the Justice of the Peace, (She was able to keep possession until County Court). She passed out flyers for this protest around the surrounding communities with another lady we evicted for multiple violations of the lease. The protest consisted of these two ladies and their kids - no kidding. (once again - we have it documented)

The other lady referenced in the previous paragraph has recently been reported to the Texas Attorney General for allegedly running an escort service while receiving housing assistance. (Copy of documentation sent with report to the Texas Attorney General)

These repairs she references are documented with pictures, and will gladly provide them to an authorized entity.

The reason she could not get an attorney was because no one would take her case. A contract is legal and binding. One attorney did take her retainer, and represented her in one court hearing, but after that one hearing they dropped her as a client.

She did contact the local media, and when they inquired about it, they realized what really is going on. She contacted KWTX in Central Texas. When Bernadette Flores, a reporter for the station called, we offered all information and documents. Her accusations were obviously unfounded.

This statement made by her "Stop taking our money saying that your going to make repairs and don't make any". What money? She didn't pay rent for months.
She kept getting continuances for the appeal and sending self prepared discoveries, (aka free rent). This woman is the epitome of people who misuse the system for their own gain.

The statement made by her, "The judges in this area frown upon those who are PRO SE" ( PRO SE means self representing) is a ridiculous statement. When I've gone to court, I go PRO SE, and the judges have always ruled by the laws that are in place, not by whether you have a lawyer or not. - ridiculous.

She asks in her report, "What do I tell my children?" Tell them to honor agreements they make. To live with integrity, and not make excuses. To pay their bills. Everyone pays to live in life. Thats what you should tell them.

What is a ripoff is what this woman did to the homeowners. The homeowners still have to pay the mortgage, insurance, legal fees and taxes for this home while this woman misuses our system and doesn't pay rent. This is a slap in the face to everyone who has integrity and pays into the system.
