I called and paid to get my phone service activated on June 28, 2004. I was told to call their automated system within 3-5 business days to get my phone number and connection date, so I repeatedly called and the automated system kept saying that a phone number and connection date had not yet been established yet.

Finally, on the seventh day I called (July 5, 2004) and the representative (Raul) told me that my service would not be connected because my address was not verifiable. Then she asked me the most idiotic question, "Do you have the phone number of the previous resident of that apartment?" After that, I told her to just give me my money back. So I am waiting for them to credit my account back and we will see what happens.

I would not suggest that anyone use this company. I am just sorry that I did not know about this website before I set up service.

If you have gotten ripped off. In almost in every phonebook in each state. Their is a number in the first couple of pages the phone number to the Public Utility Commission or Public Service Commission. You can write them or call them. They have the authority to investigate & take action & force them to give you your money back if you have proof of payment.

STILL WAITING FOR REFUND!!!

In my previous complaint on ripoffreport.com, I stated that they said it would take 10 days for the refund to be processed back into my account, well today is the 12th day and I still have no refund.

I spoke to a representative who said that she will do a follow up with the refund processing department and told me to call back within 24 hours, to check the status on this. I am getting ready to write my state attorney's general right now! I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
