Community Reading Club Of Delray Beach, CRC ripoff FRAUDULANT CHARGES LIES AND THIEFT WONT CANCEL MEMBERSHIP THAT WAS NEVER SIGNED UP FOR RIPOFF POMPANO BEACH Florida

I have no idea where to begin...I received a call from a company later to be known as the Community Reading Club of Delray Beach about my visa card....I have no idea how they got all this information on me.

They new everything including my address. The representative that I was speaking to told me that I can get a free women's watch and a cheap/deal subscribing to magazines through them...I told her I was not interested....she told me that I could try them out and that if I were not satisfied then I will not be charged for any services...she made it seem like I were getting a great deal going through them. I guess being young and naive I feel for it.

Not very long I looked at my banking statement and saw that I was charged $66.32 keeping in mind I have not received any item from the company nor the women's watch. I got on the phone and spoke to customer service rep and asked why I was charged $66.32 for magazines I never signed up for...and also mention not receiving any item. I then told her to cancel my account, she said she that she could not cancel my account she said the "contract" cannot be cancelled. I never signed a contract with this company for any magazines. I was told by the rep that called me before that I can try the service out and if not satisfied cancel it and i will not be charged. I don't understand what gives them the right to charge my account in the first place. I never authorized any of the charges.

I am a college student who barely has money...all of my money that I earn goes towards tuition/ books and all things school related. I then immediately called my bank and cancelled my credit card and got a new one...I explained that the company was frauding my account with unauthorized charges. So then in June I have been receiving magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Marie Claire, island, Elle, Cosmo girl.

I never requested any of these magazines. Shortly after I have been receiving statements from this company because they cant make charges to my account anymore.....The current statement is for $135.95 as of July 1 2005. I then went researching to find this companies info and I came across this site www.ripofreport.com I found many people like myself have been having problems with this company frauding them...here is a link to what people have said about this particular company.

I am a college student who is struggling to pay for tuition...I don't need to be frauded and have my credit messed up from Community Reading Club of Delray Beach....especially for items I never signed up for nor authorized. Please see to it that this company can put an end to the hundreds if not thousands that they have scammed and frauded money out of. I am a college student who is struggling to pay for tuition and other college items. I don't need nor authorized any charges for magazines. I also don't want my credit damaged due to this fraud.
