Attended a liquidation sale @ Wisconsin State Fair Park, on the 17th of Oct, 2009, sponsored by Blue Star enterprises.  Purchased what I thought was a  HP laptop with wireless software installation andd configuration. Also included, supposedly, was a three year 24/7 tech support and labor.  Getting the laptop home, found the  batteries were worthless, no insert for the wireless card, no wireless capability whatsoever. Plus, the laptop had been used and the language was completely foreign.  The phone number went to VM without any response from moment of purchase to  present time.  Other consumers were already returning within hours of their purchases attempting to have Compu-Electronics make  good on their junk  computers  and laptops.  Now my new concern in addition to the $590 loss, is that these ripoff artists, who were Russian by heritage, have my personal  and banking information!

I believe this person is telling the truth!

I believe what this person is saying! I too bought a desktop computer from this company and it is NOT what they told me it was. I bought the computer on August 15th, 2010 at a sale in Roanoke Va. I can't see how these people can sit and say they are honest people. They ripped me off and I will not rest til everyone knows what they did. They told me my receipt was marked 'not new' but quess what it is not marked. They say their receipt is marked so it had to be marked after I left. If I am not mistaken this is fraud. I was told it was a new computer and I have a witness to prove it. And it just so happens this witness is a licensed private investigator and he is helping me in every way he can. I will be getting in touch with the Roanoke Police Dept and the people that put the liquidation show on and let them know what happened. Hopefully they will not let these people come back to their shows.

Possible HOAX!!!

Dear Whoever you are,

I am the technical manager of the company and I was there at the computer show in Wisconsin.  At the sale, everyone that received a 3 year warranty would have brought a "new" computer with the manufacturer warranty still intact for the 1st year which would have protected you from this type of problem first of all!!  Second of all, we show EVERY customer or test whether it is a display item or brand new computer everything's working that's promised prior to handing you the computer!!! You would have witnessed this computer working prior to buying it, due to our display setup and your receipt signature that you signed yourself if you are a true customer. (example: you wouldn't buy a car without driving it first??) So, this was definitely not true.  Also we don't sell ANY laptops or computers with a prior user's/person's information on it.  All our laptops and computers are tested/working and ALL hard drives are setup with the manufacturer's requirements for operation.  Stating the laptop being used and having foreign information is just totally untrue!!  Also, to say that other consumers were returning their purchases for us to make good on them is rediculous and very not true!!  I find it very hard to beleive that you saw all of these things happening and still purchased a laptop from us, with a worthless battery, no wireless and foreign information on your computer for $590 dollars!!! Who's leg are you trying to pull here!!  This report is definitely and absolutely false and illustrating fake information for trying to defame our company.  We have a lot of other competitors at the trade show that are not so friendly that chomp at the bit to take a shot at us like this.  SO A MESSAGE TO TRUE CUSTOMER'S - BEWARE of questionable posts like this and others.  It may be from either a competitor or a disgruntled customer committing "consumer fraud" for their own gain!!  Believe me, the consumer "crooks" are growing VERY rapidly and use sites like this for their OWN gain!!!  These sites were created for the people who really have problems with their purchase, NOT for people to use as a mouthpeice or for their own gain!!  F.Y.I - NO Ducking Here!!  We have been available and always will be available if you had a serious problem with your computer.  We are available by phone, fax, and email (which you would have known since you reached our "voicemail" and have a receipt) that states the availabilty and information.  Just curious, if you are a real customer, what is your invoice number??  Did you sign the receipt?? If you still have the problem, why didn't you fax us the copy of your receipt??  The voicemail gave you all the information that would have been needed.  Can ANYONE SAY HOAX!!!!
