A mild warning: I received a congratulatory letter from a Karin Kovasec in the mail this afternoon, informing me of a $42K winning total and an enclosed check in the amount of $2,800 to "enable [me] to pay for the processing/administration fees without undue financial difficulties." It sounded too good to be true, so after hopping online here and seeing that others have been taken for a ride by a similar method, I thought a warning report like this may help others who are rather skeptical in such matters.

Needless to say, these two items get added to the "shred" pile....

Take care and thanks to everyone else who filed reports before me, verifying that this is indeed a scam!
