Consolidated Media Services AKA (CMS) Middle Man Magazine Ripoff dirty SOB's Atlanta Georgia

Recently, I was contacted by a telemarketer about a super-special offer. They told me that I was going to be put into a drawing for 50 thousand dollars and a subdrawing for 5 thousand dollars. All I had to do was subsribe to a few magazines for a certain price.

The scam of this company is the way they present the prices. They won't tell you a straight up flat rate. All they do is tell you what they are giving you. They don't ask what you want, they just give it to you and charge it to your card. As i talked to the marketer, I fired questions at him about what prices I was going to actually pay. He informed me that I was going to be charged a fee of 75$ a month for a year for 6 magazines in 7 years. I don't know what that was all about but I quickly declined. He somehow talked me down to some other deal that was 15$ a month for 4 magazines. He was a persistent SOB. For the next 3 weeks i recieved a phone call from the company once a day telling me about different offers. It was the most annoying 3 weeks of my life. So finally, I cancelled my "pay as you go" plan which I recieved. 5 minutes after I hung up with the costumer service agent, I recieved another phone call from the company and they were harassing me for money.

Currently, I still haven't recieved any magazines from them, and I paid them 45$ already. Thats three months of payments for ZERO magazines. The phone calls still come, so I'm warning anyone to just ignore any telemarketers. I was lucky because I was able to cancel, but there are other cases I know of that are much much worse. They can scam you without you knowing it until its too late. The most important lesson for me was not to give your Credit Card over the phone. NO MATTER WHAT!!
