I first got a call from CMS about a week ago. It was early, and I had a lot of things on my mind. They had a fast talking sells person on the phone. I wasn't paying much attention, and I was mislead to believe the magazines were free. I hung up and a person in customer service called to get my credit card number.

Not even thinking, I broke one of the most important rules in having a credit card. I gave my number to her. After a few hours had passed, I started regretting giving my number out. Later that evening another person from CMS called me and I told them I changed my mind, and I didn't want the magazines. He tried his best to make me change my mind, but I told him no I didn't want them.

I thought it was all taken care of, but they called me back today. I told them still that I didn't want the magazines. I then started to get worried and decided to do some research on the company and found this page. I called CMS' customer service to make sure that they had in fact canceled my order, which she said they did, but after reading everyone's statement I wanted to make sure they couldn't give my number to anyone or try and charge me more.

I called my credit card company and told them the situation, and they told me that they would block any future purchases on my card and that they would send me a new card with a new account number and everything. She told me that they did charge me $58.99 but it might come off and if it doesn't, I can dispute the charges. If it doesn't come off that's okay cause I can live with $58.99 but knowing that my credit card number could be floating around to everyone else is the scary part. I hope I stopped the scam before it really got serious!
