County Financial Services Repoed my car for false reasons Anaheim, California

I went to a car dealer on March 25, 2007 i bought a 2000 Hyndai Accent the cost was $7767.50 my Mom and I put $4,000.00 down and i got the $3,767.50 financed. That made my monthly payment 210.74.

From the begining County Financial Services had messed up things. getting the paperwork and payments mixed up that should have been a tip off. so about a year or so goes by and I had problem with them off and on. finally about the middle of augest I started getting calls from blocked numbers when i would answer it would hang up and then they would call right back when i didnt answer they would leave a message and with no call back number or name just saying that they were from County Financial Services. i would call back and the person on the other line would say on i am not on your case let me get someone for you and then the line would go dead.

Finally about three weeks of these phone calls go past and they start calling my references. my sister for one, they were calling her at all hours of the day and night. finally she called and told them to stop calling her and they have my number and to call me. which they have been.but would never answer call backs and kept doing hang ups.

In the last week of September, I got a phone call saything that i was a payment behind and I sent them 210.74 through western union. When I finally got ahold of one of the supervisors I talked to She was Fairly helpful,- so I thought- she told me she would go ahead and get me an extension so that away i didnt have to pay my next payment til the following month. to get the extension I had to send and additional $100.00. so i pay for the extension and then a week later they call and say i am late on my payment. when i tell them about what the supervisor said and her name and everything they say she is not aloud to give extensions and i asked well what happened to the $100.00 that i sent and they said well we dont have it on file and that i have to send the payment by western union by 5pm that day. or my car was going to be repoed. so i go get the money and send it. I call C.F.S. to give them the confermation number and they were extreamly rude with my Mom and I.

In the first week of October I am sitting at my house with my family watching movies and all of a sudden a repo man is at my door with my car on his truck. and he is telling me i have to get all my stuff out that i am 2 payments behind. I was like what do you mean 2 payments behind i have just paid an extra $100.00 that i didnt even get. The man takes my car and the next day I call C.F.S. the lady was So rude she was telling me I should have paid my payments and when i said i had been she started raising her voice saying clearly you havent and i was outreaged when i asked to talk to her supervisor she told me No. and I said please let me talk to the supervisor and she hung up on me. when I called back she said she was the still rasing her voice and still being extreamly rude. So i asked one more time may I please just talk to your supervisor and she hung up again.

So the next day i had my mom call she finally got ahold of a supervisor and they told her That we had to pay off the car and all the repo fees. in total it would have been $1,900. So I lost my car they sent a letter saying that my car was getting sold to make up for what i owed on the car. In November i got a check in the mail for $210.00 from C.F.S. and about another two weeks go by and i get a letter in the mail saying that my car sold and that my balance was at $0 and it was not going to be on my credit. when I got back in town from out of state I went online to get the number so I could call and ask what the check was for.

Much to my suprise i see this website saying it was a rip off and reading the stories of people that were just like me. Buying a car getting financed paying my bills like im suposed to almost done paying my payments and my car gets repoed. i am 24 years old trying to go to school and better my life and my only transportation gets taken away from me. something I worked so hard to have. It is so upsetting that this kind of thing is happening. I just hope we can get some kind of justice this company is a joke. Thank you
