Coventry Health Care Job terminated after 4 wks,3days & took a retest, 2 different tests,mgr couldn't make up her mind which test to give ,no proof of score. Never late for job. Harrisburg Pennsylvania

 I worked @Coventry for 4 weeks and 3 days.  There was a training of 2 wks, if you want to call it training.  Trainer constantly having to attend meetings almost daily. When training class was over the 4 of us was given a test to take.  My test score was 88% thought that was good.  When interviewed mgr,supervisor,HR rep didn't advise of a test or what percentage you needed.  All they were concerned about was us signing a contract about tardiness & time taking off.  Nothing about a test.

Finally got into department & they gave everyone a mentor for our job. One week on floor with mentor learning the job(was alot different than the training you received).  Second week on floor by Tuesday received an email as same time supervisor is ready to take me for this re-test.  In this room I was given a 3 page re-test no sooner than I am on the 2nd page of test, trainer came over & said she received an email from the manager & I was given the wrong test! 

Now I am given a 2 page test that the first part should be color coded arrows to pay your vendor, NO there are 2 black arrows while trainer's copy is color coded.  REALLY?  Then going down the page there is a provider number given with 2 address, which address would you be using to pay the vendor?  REALLY, again under the provider number & all their offices NO ADDRESS OF SUCH! 

On Thursday 2 days later after taking the test, manager Lori came over to my desk later in the afternoon & asked me to come with her.  Now prior to this my mentor puts on my excel grid GREAT JOB!  Again REALLY?? 

I follow manager to conference room walk in & there is Marianna from Human Resources too.  I was quite confused what was going on (since no one could give me my test score until Thursday). Manager Lori couldn't even look at me as Marianna was watching me.  Lori states your retest score was a 59 1/2% & this is unacceptable and your retest was not Trickery.  NO PROOF OF TEST, COULDN'T LOOK AT ME- REAL INTERESTING!!! Asked if could be placed in another dept?  That was not even considered.  I explained to Lori & Marianna I have been unemployed for 10 mos due to my prev employer losing a military contract.  Had no empathy at all!  They walked me out & was given a small box of all my items at desk, wanted badge & left no even 5 minutes of their time.  I didnt even knew what hit me, I felt like a criminal.  Never being terminated from a job in my LIFE!  I get home went through my 3 ring binder for my copies of contract had to sign for late or tardiness & my own orientation notes with phone numbers. Nothing was there, they ripped everything out!!

I hope I can keep any good person with talent from going to Coventry and applying for a position..  How unprofessional & such childish behavior as adults!!!  STAY AWAY!!!!
