I along with many other people have contacted Craigslist about people selling CPN (Credit Privacy Numbers) on Craigslist.Which is nothing but someone elses social security number.Craigslist is not concern about anyone's posting ads on Craigslist to commint fraud as long as Craigslist stay at the top of the search engines. We tried to speak direct to the CEO founder with no luck.
We will give Craigslist 30 days to block/remove everyone's ads that is selling CPN numbers on Craigslist. If Craigslist fail to do so we will take our complaint to the news meda.

Craigslist......

To the parties b*&*&*& about illegal items on Craigslist, I would call your attention to the fact there is a "flagging" window in the upper rt. hand corner of any listing. One of the flags one may enter is "prohibited items". This takes the page down. I use Craigslist extensively and have had very good luck in selling miscellaneous **stuff** I no longer needed. It's not only very effective, but a whole lot cheaper than screwing with E Bay. Another advantage over E Bay is the fact the listings are regional, so it promotes direct sales without any shipping involved. I am absolutely astounded at the number of people apparently scanning Craigslist to buy items. I have sold nearly everything I posted on Craigslist, usually in a matter of a few days, sometimes even within hours.
.
I know this flagging procedure works, as I've had some wise a$$ take a couple of my totally legitimate for sale pages down.
.
I have taken down several disgustingly profane pages outwardly advertising sexual services, complete with X rated illustrations. All I had to do was flag them for prohibited and they came down at once. Sadly, however, the offensive page may be put back up, of course. Just keep knocking it down. The instructions state please flag with care. It would seem as if this is the primary means of cleaning out the crap. Use it!

Newpaper ads have all kinds of 'work from home' schemes to make $10,000 a day flipping houses but you don't hear complaints about them. craigslist is similar - anyone can post any kind of ad as long as they are not selling something obviously illegal (drugs, prostitution, etc). It is up to the consumer to determine if an ad is legitimate, just like in a newspaper.

I titled that response because all you are doing is BELLY-ACHING!!!! Craigslist is a free for all forum if you don't like it then DON'T GO TO THE WEBSITE!!!!
If you are so ignorant and stupid and to actually do as you say then you deserve to be scammed! Who in their right mind would respond to an ad such as you describe?
Do you really want to go to the media? I mean if you did as you say then the last thing I would want to do is proclaim my stupidity to the public! To each his own...if I see your media presentation I will have a beer in one hand and be laughing so hard I will be crying! Bring on the entertainment dummy!

craigslist has been ignoring all the thiefs and scammers and letting them post on thier web site. They pretend they cant do anything about it. kvbc.com is channel three in Las vegas hasdone an undercoverd one this companies selling fake ss numbers. I have contacted craigslist yet they replied its not thier problem and i should contact the police. I cant believe a business can allow scammers and thiefs use their site and they are not obligated to do anything. If u need any info on thier reply please contact me they just wash thier hands. People are gettin screwed robbed and scammed yet the still allow that unbelievable what type of society we have become.
Advertisers above have met our
