Credit First National Association - Firestone ripoff - try to steal your money through credit card Cleveland Ohio

I took my car in to a Firestone in SLC for a repair and an alignment (have the lifetime deal with them already). They tried to sell me new tires because they were wearing unevenly due to not being aligned correctly, even though I already had Firestone tires and Firestone alignments for several years.

The real problem started when I agreed to sign up for their credit card to pay for the repair. 90 days no interest, but what they don't tell you is that they don't send the bills. The first thing I ever got from them was a past due notice -- with no phone number. Next I got the actual credit card, and the phone number on the back of it was out of service. Then I started getting the collection phone calls every morning, where their machine would leave 5 words on my voice mail and hang up. By the time they called at a respectable hour and I answered, the woman I talked to was so stupid and rude, that even after I repeated to her I didn't have a valid phone number to call, she got angry at me, told me to call them back to talk to someone else, and hung up --after I told her I had no valid number to call!

The phone calls kept coming, and I kept telling them that I refused to pay the late fees and finance charges because it took them several months until they actually sent me a bill, but every person I talked to refused to allow me to dispute the amount and pay just the amount that I had charged. It took nearly a year until someone finally took my bank information and agreed to only charge the amount that I told him and not the extra $150 of false charges.

The last time someone called, he informed me that my account was being sent back to Firestone (from the collection dep't) and that they would be suing me for the last of the money that I refused to pay.

Whatever you do, don't get a credit card with Credit First National Association!
