I have been having trouble with Credit One Bank. They are charging me 29.9% APR on my credit card. I have never been late and pay over the minimum payment. Everytime I call they give me the run around.

When asked to speak to a supervisor they put me on hold so I waited. The man came on and said his supervisor is in a meeting that I would have to wait.So I waited again the the man came on and said that his supervisor is still busy. So I told him that I will wait until his supervisor can speak to me. Alady came on and told me that They charge everyone that and she can't lower it. She also told me that she could not help me.

So I have not ever been able to get a straight answer from them ever. I called previously and a man told me a number to call to reach his supervisor. I called and it was the same man. I called him by his name from the previous number. He admitted that it was him!!!!

Please People DO NOT USE CREDIT ONE BANK!!!

I am a disabled Nurse trying to get by and they do me any old way they want and they are getting by with it!!!!!!!

Another possibility

We once had a notice that one of our credit cards was going to have a large interest increase.  It was actually because we didn't use it enough. However, they gave us the option of cancelling the card and continuing to finish paying it off at the original rate.  That's what we did. We then applied for a lower interest card from another source.

The announcement was in a mailing that looked like a promotional ad and would have been easy to miss.  You have to open and read everything they send you.  Seems a little devious but that's the way it works these days.

"I have not ever been able to get a straight answer... told me that They charge everyone that and she can't lower it"

There's your straight answer.

Why did you agree to the finance terms and then use the credit card if you were not satisfied with those terms?

And This Is a Surprise???

When you applied for this credit card, you were informed of all the charges and the APR schedule.  Now, you act so, so surprised your APR is 29%.  The time to object to a high APR is BEFORE you get the card...when you see the disclosure information!  Of course, that's why you are acting surprised because you NEVER read what you were obligating yourself to, BEFORE you obligated yourself to those terms and conditions!  Smart.  Real smart!
