Cricket Wireless has proved to me that their customer service is the worst and their ethical standards are not obided by.

I signed up with Cricket in San Diego thinking that I would have service while attending school there and also when I went back home to Sacramento, or atleast that is what the Cricket representative told me (with an added monthly payment) when I bought the phone. This statement however was untrue. The representative said that I could use my Cricket phone in Metro pcs coverage areas, like Sacramento. When I went back home for Summer, my phone did not work.

Cricket charged my account for the month during which I was in Sacramento with no service. I called Cricket asking why I was told something that did not apply, and after being forwarded about 5 times to different departments, they told me that what the representative in San Diego said was not true. They said that they DO NOT have an agreement with Metro pcs to use their network. This ended up being another untruthful statement. I then asked what I could do in order to refund my account for the bill that was posted to my bank account for the month I had no service. The representative said that they could not do anything in order to help me. I then asked to cancel my account. The representative tried, of course, getting me to take other options like handing my account to "a friend" for them to have. I told them absolutely not, because I would never give a friend such a horrible reference. By this time, the representative had deleted my account and said that she would credit my account and to call back the next day.

I called back the next day, however the number that I called last time (1-800-cricket) was unable to let me speak to a representative because I did not have a valid Cricket phone number. I ended up finding a number for a Fresno office. I spoke to a supervisor (finally) who told me that everything would be cleared up. I would recieve my refund for the month that I was billed and I would also recieve a refund for the cancellation ($55). I was finally happy that someone knew what they were doing. JUST KIDDING!!! This supervisor had no idea what they were talking about because when I called a week later to check up on the refund that I had not recieved, a representative told me that she would forward my call to a San Diego office that does all the refunds. When I spoke to the representative in San Diego she told me that I was not eligible for the $55 refund and that the supervisor in Fresno was wrong.

I could not believe what had happened. This entire process of deleting my account and recieving my deserved refund had taken a whole month and ended with the result of no refund of the $55. I asked the San Diego representative what I could do because of my disappointment and she told me to write a complaint to Cricket Headquarters at:

I will be doing this, however I am still at awe from this horrible experience.
