Cricket Communications ,Cricket Wireless Phone Service Cricket has been promising to credit my account $25.00 since 10/1/08 for out of area service that didn't work. Portland Oregon

I had made arrangements with Cricket for out of area service to Southern California for my son's wedding. It added $15 to my regular bill.

I lost the signal before I even left Oregon. I spent the entire 10 days in So. California with absolutely no cell service, making it impossible to communicate with any family or friends during this time. Extremely stressfull and upsetting.

When I returned to Portland, OR. I contacted Cricket and told them what happened. They agreed to credit back the $15.00, not just remove it from by bill since I didn't need it anymore, and also to credit $10 for pain and suffering.

However, when the 10/1/08 billing came, it was too late and I was told that I would see the credit on my November '08 bill. I did not.

11/1/08 billing came and still no credit. Again, I was told it was too late to issue the credit and would have to wait until next month.

12/1/08 still no credit; called again and this time Julie told me that they already removed the $15 charge. That is not the same as a credit. It was removed because I only paid for one month of extended service.

That is when I decided to contact the BBB.
