Crystal Springs Water DS Waters of America, Sparklett Charged without notice, Didn't receive bills, They dropped water off after I asked them to stop and they sent my account to a collection agent before contacting me in any way! Dallas, Texas

I should have known better than to trust a door to door water salesman asking for my social or credit card number. He was nice but didn't really know much about what he was selling. I figured he was new and I felt sorry for him so I fell for it. At first I was happy with the water service until they took money out of my bank account. The prices that he had quoted were much less than what I was charged. I did not get a bill to explain the charges so I called the number on the receipt the salesman had given me. They said sorry but they can't refund the difference. They would credit it to my next months bill and the discounted price that I was promised would be noted to my account. It was not! I found myself calling every month or so to correct their mistakes that they were probably hoping I would miss. Since they never charged me at the same time every month. Sometimes I wouldn't get charged at all and then double the next month! So to avoid any further charges, I asked them to stop delivering water to me. Once again they say "it will be noted to your account" to shut me up. I went out of town for a month and come home to find a porch full of FROZEN, BUSTED water bottles that I was charged for! Then I get a phone call from a collection agency!

      I had just about enough. I called the company "Crystal Springs" to ask why they didn't contact me and they could not explain. I got charged a $100 termination fee + the amount of all the frozen water that I asked them not to deliver! They also charged me for the full amount of the cooler and said I have to return it to them to get it knocked off the bill. The place is impossible to find! You can't get people on the phone at the location nearest me to ask for directions. Shouldn't they come pick it up since it is on their drop off route anyway?

Anyway, I am still paying for it! Every time I get a bill from the collection agency and pay it, They send me another. WORST Company EVER!! I can't wait to be completely rid of them!

Next time I'm checking out the ripoff report B4 I sign up with a new company that I have never heard of.
