CSL Plasma/Tiwanna It's Their Responsibility Fort Worth Texas

Today I tried to donate plasma. First, when I walked into this woman's booth she complained that I stunk so I went to the restroom to wash up. I returned to her booth a few minutes afterwards. She checked my weight, blood pressure, temperature, hemoglobin and protein levels and I was sort of bored so I flicked the cotton ball just a little bit... it travelled about an inch. It never went across the table though. She left the booth immediately complaining that I contaminated her by throwing the cotton ball across the table. I was not angry or frustrated in any way.

I spoke with a supervisor a few minutes after this occurrance. He claimed that I threw a cotton ball across the table, that he viewed it on tape. When I tried to explain to him that I did not throw it across the table and that I was in no way angry or frustrated, he claimed that no matter what that I am now permenantly deffered because of it.

When I asked to view the tape, he refused stating that I cannot view it because it's in the back.

I have been donating plasma at this facility for almost three years. I was deferred for eight weeks prior to this donation because their machine malfunctioned so I had to wait until my red blood cells were replenished.

I definitely feel that when this woman walked away from her booth, that her intention was to just cause trouble for me. She was having a very bad day and she took it out against me by making up a huge lie. She never did take the proper steps to ensure a clean area either... the cotton ball was still on the table. She just left it there.
