We were solicited at a local Home Show to attend a free dinner and see products. Three times the company called to confirm our attendance and each time we specifically asked for clarification on the $100 gift certificate and each time we were told the $100 could be spent at any vendor (as in a Visa Gift Card) and did not have to be used to buy their product. When we attended the dinner January 24, 2012, we were informed "we misunderstood". On January 25, 2012 I spoke with Chef Stephanie who assured me the President of the Company would email me for further clarification. My wife and I are extremely detailed people and would not have attended the dinner if we had known the $100 had to be used to purchase their products. We would not have traveled 136 miles round trip just for a free dinner.
We are reviewing what our legal options are. For future potential customers, you may want to review the company's Truth in Marketing practices before wasting your time and money.

So let me get this straight, you would drive 136 miles to pick up $100 but you would drive 136 miles for a free meal with your spouse and for a FREE $100 gift certificate?
First of all, why would anybody give you a FREE meal and give you $100?? What is this charity? And second of all, I was also invited into this show and was told that the $100 was a gift certificate to Cuisine Sante International.
You said that you and your wife are detail oriented people, well did you guys ever think about why a company would give you a free meal and one hundred dollars for desert? LOL
And what legal action are you going to take? Suing a company for not paying you to eat their meals? This is by far the funniest "rip off report" I have ever read!
