I wrote and sold web content articles to Daily Article for over a year. At first, I didn't have a problem with the website's owner, Shanda Harper.
Then, in late 2009, for some strange reason, I felt an urge to check my profile on her website. I discovered that Shanda had sold more than 3 of my articles, and I had not been paid nor notified of these sales.
Believing there was a possible misunderstanding since she had paid me in the past, I contacted Shanda immediately. It took her days to finally pay me. I thought this wouldn't happen again, but it did, and worse.
On May, 2010, I sold two more articles, but Shanda only paid me for one. Again, I checked my writer's profile to discover this. When I emailed her about this sale, she said there was problem with the timing of the article's sale; that's why I didn't get paid.
However, on my writer profile, Shanda had already credited my account as being paid for two articles - despite only paying me for one. She even stated in her own words that my article was sold after the amount was sent. In other words, she already had the money.
Therefore, she had the money to pay me, yet lied that she couldn't.
Shanda stated she would take care of this problem by noon, but she didn't. Days passed, and no word from her. I constantly emailed her until she finally replied.
She claimed to be aware of the due payment. This time she blamed the problem on technical by stating it needed to be fix in order to pay me.
She even told me I didn't have to email her anymore because I wouldn't get paid until the next batch of payments go out. Shanda, however, pays upon immediate sale with paypal accounts, which I have. I just had a strong sense in her email that she didn't want to hear from me again, and that she wasn't going to pay me either.
I have yet to receive this payment.
I want to warn all internet writers to beware of writing for Daily Article. I am not trying to Shanda Harper, but it's wrong for her to keep money earned by writers. In my eyes, this makes her dishonest and untrustworthy.
I warn other writers because if she did this me, she will likely do the same to other writers too. Granted, money earned on Daily Article is small, but it's still money rightfully earned by the creator of the articles.
I could never trust Shanda Harper again. And through my experience, I hope other writers will think twice about trusting her as well.

After I reported Daily Article to Rip Off Report, I received my payment the next day. Although I'm glad to receive this payment, I still felt this matter wasn't handled well. I felt like I wasn't give much information throughout this situation.
Given this, I still feel it's best for me to cut all ties with Daily Article. I'm not bitter, and I wish Shanda Harper the best of luck with her business. I hope for her sake her business habits improve.
My best advice to any writer interested in writing for Daily Article is this: monitor your account c arefully to know what articles sell.
