Sorry for those Danny Venz and State Farm fans out there, but I would recommend NOT using them ever..

If it's the law or your mortgage company requires it - make sure you get the lowest possible priced insurance as possible and be prepared - DO NOT USE IT because you'll never get any money back..

Here's another example of Danny Venz and his crazy policies..

I called them a couple of years and said I would like to be INSURED to the max.. I wanna make sure that if someone comes in a steals everything or a fire comes in and takes anything.. that I'm fully covered at the lowest deductibles..

I was a first time homebuyer.. business owner.

Now - someone steals $6400 worth of equipment from my employee's trunk, and the claim came back..

$250..

We're sorry but that equipment which cost $6400 this year.. we have a limit of $250 for.. so here's your check.

I said.. we pay Danny Venz and State Farm over $10K per year..

And I get $250..

Guess what?  I'm selling everything.. getting rid of ANY Danny Venz and State Farm insurance..

Why?

I can use the $10K for this theft..
I can use this $10K for house repairs..
I can use this $10K for anything..

Just another example of how Danny Venz and State Farm leads the consumer to pay the most.. pay the max.. and cover the least.. It's the biggest rip-off in the US right now.. and my recommendation would be to RUN AWAY from Danny Venz!

#3 Consumer Suggestion

Read your coverage

AUTHOR: hear - (United States of America)

You need to know what coverage you are purchasing.  Business property is covered under a personal homeowners policy, which is what you are referring to, with built in limits including $250 max off premise, or outside the home.

If you want coverage for business equipment, you would cover it under a business insurance policy.  Did you write a business policy?  Reading the note, it sounds you expected homeowners insurance to cover it.  It is clearly stated that the amount of business property coverage under a personal homweowners policy is limited.

Did you ask for a quote on your business at the time you wrote the policies?

#2 Consumer Suggestion

To "Paid $10K/Year and Got $250" and Ticked Off at Danny Venz and State Farm

AUTHOR: Enlightened One - (United States of America)

I suggest that you should have and in the future, read all policies you purchase. Talk to your agent, and ask specific questions. Be honest in answering all questions asked when getting a quote, and then there will be no misunderstanding as to what you really "bought, and paid for".

In this case, it seems that your homeowners' policy has a limit as to how much business property is covered away from your premises. Business Property from a trunk of one of your employee's cars getting stolen off premises does fall under that limit. You should have made a claim under your business insurance policy and that should have been covered to a greater extent, subject to your deductible.

I have over 20 years of experience in insurance and financial services, and am making this suggestion in case you did have a business insurance policy in place at the time of that loss. If not, you may consider purchasing a policy to cover your business assets. A 800 number cannot take the place of a real humanbeing, who you can look in the eye and ask questions. I recommend a dedicated agent for all your insurance needs. Cheaper always does not mean "BETTER".

Danny Venz and The Insurance is NOT Worth a Dime!

AUTHOR: TimeWarnerRipoff - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 23, 2009

Thank you for this information..  I have Danny Venz, and based on the information above, I have switched my car insurance over to Geico.. I like how Geico makes it easy with the online ordering and selecting .. AND it's much cheaper.

Danny Venz needs to get real with the insurance and stop cheating customers out of their money.. If someone was paying $10K per year and when it came time to actually do something.. they should be bending over backwards.

Danny Venz should be ashamed of himself for misleading consumers and State Farm should revoke his license immediately.  Customers and consumers.. the average ones don't know what to get and when they reach out for help - and this happens..

Danny Venz should be in jail!!!  It's a shame that this has happened.. it gives everyone in the insurance business a bad name.. Danny Venz gives everyone in the insurance business a bad name.
