on the 6th of October i called Direct tv to be come a customer after talking with the sales lady i was to be billed to my Credit card $99.00. For a DVR and $19.95. For ship $& Hand, Fee. on the 8th of October i go into my Credit Card Account and Direct tv Helped themself to $238.85. So i called Directtv and talk to a sales lady and told her if this is the way your sarting to do bussines i don't want to be a Customer please cancel the Instalation. She said can you hold please i said yes. 2 min, later she get's back on the phone and tell's me if we Refund all your money back to your credit card would you still go with the instalation and i ask her what do you meen she said will refund all your money back to your credit card and i said so i'm getting a intalled and all for free she said yes you don't have to pay for anything. I said yes, Boy what a mistake i did by saying yes and becoming a customer with them.
on the 19th of October i looked at my Credit card Account and no Refund there so i called Driect tv and ask the person i talked to where is my Refund that i was told i would get back on my Credit card he told me that they did not credit my account that he would do it then, a big lie there aslo by the sales rep. i did not get my refund. today i call and the lady that i talk to said that i was credited and to wait 2 month for my credit card to be refund. That is also a lie, why because every time i ask for a supervisore he is to busy for me to talk to him or her.
Well i E-mailed direct tv about my problem, Because i can't get a supervisor on the phone so i would try to E-mail them, and this is what i got back from him.
" Thanks for taking the time to write us. When I reviewed your account, I see that the last financial transaction on your account was when we sent a $41.13 refund to the card you last used. You currently have a $131.66 credit from the credits DIRECTV applied to your account. We have not processed a payment since you returned to DIRECTV. If you made a payment that is not reflected on your statement, please fax a detailed description of the issue along with the following information to 877-580-2148. - If you paid by check, send a copy of both the front and back of the cashed check or a copy of the bank statement reflecting payment. - If you paid by money order, ask the issuing bank to trace the money order and send a copy of the front and back of the cashed money order. - If you paid by credit card, send a copy of your credit card statement showing the charge transaction. At that time we will research the missing payment. Be sure to include your DIRECTV account number, name and phone number with your document. Thanks again for writing. Sincerely,.."
So now he is telling me that they only refund $41.13. And that is also a lie.
Where is my $238.85. What i see they are doing is paying themself from my $238.85. Every month. Because they think that i don't know how to make my own payments so they pay themself the way they want to. Today is Nov 6th, 2009 and not even a penny has been put back into my account. And if i try to canceled the service they want $450.00. for the contrac that they did not keep with me.
By the way they know that i'm disable and on a fix income. Do you think anyone at Direct tv cares about me. Hell no
