DIRECT TV ELLEN FILIPIAK, CEO When the person that spoke to us about Directv he told us that it was going to be for 1 year contract. Come to know that the contract was for 2 years and i was never told that and didnt sign a contract Internet

  One night a guy from Directv came knocking to our door offering Directv. He told us that it was going to be a 1 year contract. So the contract exp. on 2/22/12 and when i called Directv they told me it a 2 year contract which that wasnt told to us by the guy that came our home.

I never sign any contract with them everything was done by phone. The last time i called Directv was 2/23/12 to cancel my service and they charged me $ 240 for cancellation and the bill that i had. They gave me the number of the dealer and when i called the guy told me that sometimes sales people lie to make the sale.

The reason why i needed to cancel it was because i lost my job and the only one working is my husband and we have to little girls and we couldn't afford to pay $90 per month. Please if anybody can help us with problem we really appreciated because is not fair to be told something and ends up to be a lie .
