Received a call from Direct TV collections dept. Focus Receivables.
They wanted a past due balance paid, I explained that this was discharged through bankruptcy last year.
She said "great you ****** b****" and hung up.The calls continue day after day.
The BBB has over 200 complaints against them, and there is no stopping them from these relentless calls.
I found over a 100 similar complaints and they are still up and running.

It nevef ceases to amaze me how many companies force their employees to rebut bad PR on sifes like these. If a person has filed bankrupfcy then you are not allowec to contact them for a debt. That is the law. Sorry direct tv but thafs why I left you too.

Charles, it's true that I am often a business defender. It's been my observation that a good share of the problems people have with businesses are self inflicted. Either unreasonable or unrealistic expectation that they don't seem to be able to comprehend.
- wanting to do returns with no receipt
- wanting items warranted beyond the warranty limit.
- wanting something for nothing
- accusing them of charging too much AFTER they bought something
- Wondering why companies won't put up with obnoxious behavior
- Declaring bankruptcy so they don't get paid at all
- Wondering why companies want their payments on time and have the audacity to try to collect it
- Complaining because they don't want to use a check register
- Complaining because they are ripped off by psychics
An on and on ad infinitum.
Some people are certainly ripped of but it seems they are in the minority
Most of us don't have any of these problems. We've heard some of your problems over the years and it appears that you cause all of your own problems, at least that we hear about.

This Is the reason why stacy Is so biased agaisnt posters of complaints. I think she Is the one who need to grow up. But these creditors & businesses get away with stealing from us.

Stop blaming everyone for your actions and start taking responsibility - anyone can do a search on you and find all the reports you posted. The OP did not pay their bill and therefore they owe for the services they received regardless. Having Directv for over 8 years I have had not one single problem. If the bill was discharged then contact your Attorney.
The BBB may have 200 complaints but there are over 1 million subscribers. Pretty small.

Its not peoples fault why people have to file for bankruptcy, so If anyone who Is agaisnt the poster can piss off you do not know their personal situation for why they had to file for bankruptcy. George w bush & the republicans have "Ruined" alot of lives.

Directv sold your account to a third party debt collector. Therefore I suggest you stop blaming Directv and blame the debt collection agency. As for IDIOT Charles - you can call me names and everyone else as far as I concerned but YOU and YOUR MOTHER have ripped off more people than anyone can count so I suggest you stop the name calling.
