I would like to report  fraud committed by contractor company by the name of Disaster One.

Disaster One is the restoration company sent out to our home to do repairs from water damage by an independent adjustor's company by the name of Brush Country Claims.  The insurance commission office does not govern contractors.  They only govern the insurance companies.  The insurance company and the adjustor's (Brush country Claim) denies sending them but they did.  We had never heard of this company before and was not given a list to choose from.  They told us who they were sending.

These contractors did not do most of the things on the adjustor's list but has persisted to charge for them for the past six months.  They just want to keep coming out looking at the damages and the work they did not do over and over again but take no action on it.  Each time it's almost a month in between.  Their then manager Brian Jeffords told me point blank the first time that I was not going to get any allowance for the damages. And so far they have not.  What they first did when I complained about these things was remove the flooring allowance since they new they were doing the floors but still kept the charges for the things they did not do.  When I complained again they lowered the prices on the these they did not do and then added new items in order to recoup the money some of the money back.   This happened three more times.  When I continued to confronted them about it over and over again.  They finally took it off a on the fifth complaint but went in and added new things that they did not do again ,  added things that were not part of the claim and upped the charges on the things they did do to again recoup the money back. This has been going on for over six months.

Disaster One also caused a tremendous amount damages to the house while they were here working and produced extremely poor quality work with crocked walls, bleeding paint and putting down baseboards were no flooring was down and busted a pipe in doing so.  Yet they want to charge extremely high prices.  They even requested receipts for the light fixtures I purchased so they can keep the excess money.   They stated there were going to come back to fix what they could and redo the flawed work but more than thirty days passed and they never came back and ignored our calls.  They refuse return the contents of this house, pay for the damages they created and for the new contractor that had to come in and get this house somewhat livable but want us to pay them thousands of dollars.  I even spoke with their vice president Mr. Early about my complaint whose only response to me was "oh".

This company is full of lies and are completely negligent with no remorse.  Not once did anyone every apologize or have any sympathy. I have proof of all there attempted fraud against us along with pictures and emails.

This company are crooks and need to be investigated.  We had to persist for the itemized list from them That's how I discovered they did an over 200% markup on many things and was trying to get paid for things they did not do.  Imagine how many people don't even bother to get the itemized list from them.  There just stealing money that the insurance company payout to people to fix there house.  We've had to hire an attorney because they are persistent thieves.
