My husband is in the Air Force and we had Dish for a year before he had to deploy to Iraq.We had minor issues with them at first,the network went out while he was deployed,I called customer service to have the issue resolved,after being on hold and passed around from one rep. to another I finally spoke to someone in the trouble shooting department,this person told me to get on my roof and adjust the dish.Wow,so no I was not going on my roof, after 45 minutes he finally set me up for someone to come out, it would be 2 weeks but I really had no choice.The day of my service call arrives and I'm anxious to have the problem fixed,I live on an Air Force Base and I recieve a call from the tec. advising me he cannot get on the base as he has no drivers liscence,I was shocked to say the least,they contracted someone who is driving around with their name on his truck and he doesn't have a liscence to drive. I had to then set up another day and time with a new tec.This was eventually fixed, however I had a very bad taste for this company.2 years later,yes still with them because of contract we ran into multiple issues with the dish not working for weeks at a time while waiting for service,we were promised to be given credit for the lost time, needless to say it never happened.We finally threw in the towel and cancelled our service.I tell anyone and everone DO NOT USE DISH NETWORK.....
Issues:Poor customer service,rude and extremely unproffesional.

I read your report and I must say it sounds like you just ran into the wrong employees. I love Dish Network...their service is great (except when it rains) and I never have to call customer service. When they came out to install the dish, they went above and beyond. I had Comcast for cable before switching to the Dish and the Comcast tech left wires everywhere. The Dish Network Tech, stapled not only the Dish Network wires but also the Comcast wires (I still have Comcast for Internet). Dish Network is great...I will never go back to cable.
