Oh my God, I can't believe how they lied to me, these guys a bastards!

It time to do something about it. How wants to get together and join in a class action law suit? Or a least get together a group complaint that we can send dish network to make it known that if they don't correct things we will go to court?

Then sue them Johnny

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 21, 2007

Seems you might have a case Johnny - but read your contract with them very carefully.

My rebuttals were about Trevolo - so far he hasn't stated how he was ripped off. All he's done is write about everything he's read - for all I know he may not even be a customer.

I'm not a customer, so if I filed a suit, chances are very good the court would view it as frivolous and I'd be out some money for it.

I was curious as to just how Trevolo was ripped off - he doesn't say.

WHY WE SHOULD FILE CLASS ACTION AGAINST DISH NETWORK??

AUTHOR: Just Johnny - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 20, 2007

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT ROBERT,

TO TAKE MONEY DIRECTLY OUT OF SOMEONES PERSONAL ACCOUNT WITHOUT THEIR AUTHORIZATION IS NOT ONLY DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, BUT ITS BLATANT THEFT.

I am a consumer, and chose to use their service. I signed a contract with them and paid them with a debit card. I permitted them to charge my account for the charges that I signed for. I did not permit them to take their cancellation fees, and equipment charges from my account.

I do agree that I have a contract with them. I do agree that there will be a balance with them. I do not agree that they can just dip into my account when they see fit!!

That is what is called credit. I did apply with them and got approved to have an account with them. In doing so, they allow me to carry a balance until I send them payment for such credit. That is consumer dynamics. One person agrees to hold an account and the other agrees to pay it.

In that agreement, it never said they would have free reign to dip into my account at anytime they want. Thats not how credit works. If they do not consider it credit, then they need to stop reporting their business to the credit bureaus.

What is YOUR complaint?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2007

So what is your complaint?

You write about all the other complaints but you don't state what your complaint is.

How did they lie to you?

How were you ripped off by them?

What have you done to try to get them to correct the problem?

What do you want them to do?

Someone has to take action, lets start with a letter to dish network.

AUTHOR: Tevolo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2007

This is not just about small errors here or there by dish network.

The dish network deliberately deceives.

There are over 500 complaints on this website and many more on other websites about dish network. I have looked around the web and there are thousands of complaints about dish network.

The customers service department at dish, like most major companies keeps records and recordings of customer service interactions and conversations. I can prove they deceived me from these recordings and my bills. And from reading many of the posts on here and on other sites, other claims can be proved the same way.

It doesn't even have to start in court action. We can simply write a letter and have people sign it. Send it to Dish Network CEO and also to major news companies. Find someone among ourselves who is a good public speaker and have them interviewed by a TV network.

As for court action, if after the letter and news network appearances dish network does not correct things, then we think about court. If enough people get on board and it goes to court, lawyers can petition the court for class action status. If I was a millionaire I would have taken them to court myself already. However, if enough people get on board it will be easier to find lawyers to do it for a commission. No, class action or major law suit against any major company has ever been easy.

BUT COMPANIES LIKE DISH NETWORK GET AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE WE ALLOW THEM TO GET AWAY WITH IT! IT IS TIME FOR ACTION.

Class Action?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2007

OK, before anyone goes running off to sue anyone the first question that has to be answered is this: What are the grounds of a class action lawsuit?"

The 2nd question is: How are we going to prove it?

The 3rd question is: What do I expect to get out of the class action suit?

Anyone can file a civil suit against anyone or any business. The rub is if the court determines the suit to be frivolous, then the plantifs may find themselves in deep financial difficulties. These questions should be answered before filing any civil suit.

My experience is that when something goes awry with a company product or service that it's better for me to address my issues directly with that company.

Your report does not give any particulars as to what problems you've had with them.

Also, in most class action cases, it's the lawyers that make the millions while the consumers get a "coupon good for $5 towards your next purchase of..."
