I already wrote to Better Business Bureau hoping I can reach resolution to my problem and I hope I can get assistance here.

I moved to a new location and called to have Dish's technician come out to install the satellite at my new place. But however, the Technician couldn’t install the satellite due to reception interference from the buildings surrounding my apartment.  The technician was really nice and kind enough to call into Dish customer service for me informing customer service that he can’t get reception in my area and even asked if I can get the cancellation fee partially reduced, but to NO AVAIL! 

 Customer service informed me I am under contract and they will not waive the cancellation fee!!  I signed a contract and therefore I will have to pay the early termination fee and   or my other option is to down grade my package and pay 25.00 a month until my contract expires! What kind of option is that and what kind of customer service DISH is portraying to their customers to even offer that kind of options! My option is keep paying for a service that I can’t even use!!!! I informed Dish's rep, I have no problem with Dish, I actually like Dish and yes I signed a contract but Dish breached the contract by charging me money and can’t provide service!   I told customer service if you continue to charge me than come and install service at my place!  I WANT it, I am not breaching my contract and Dish’s customer service informed me sorry we CANNOT INSTALL DISH IN YOUR NEW HOME BECAUSE WE CANNOT PROVIDE RECEPTION AND SERVICE AT YOUR HOME!!

DISH, you promised to provide service and you are not coming through with your end of the agreement.  The contract is for you to provide service and in exchange, you take away my hard-earned money!  Dish since you can’t provide service and yet you wont waive my cancellation fee, this is how you deal with your customers?

TO the man who wrote about I should move where Dish is available!

I used to have DIsh network and I have no complaints about them.  However, I did move and Dish did not service the area nor do I wish to continue the contract.  Dish cancelled my service with no questions asked.

 

HOWEVER to the unprofessional and naive PERSON, who would be in their right mind to LIVE ONLY where Dish is availabe or service!  Be real if you don't have a sensiable comment, DON'T COMMENT!  Don't be an AXX!

FIrst of all if you can't respond in a professional manner than please REFRAIN FROM RESPONDING!!

OF COURSE I CALLED YOU IDIOT!! HOW ELSE WOULD I KNOW TO JUST TAKE MY RECIEVER!! CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME TO JUST TAKE MY RECIEVER TO MY NEW HOME!!!!!! AND A TECHNICIAN WILL COME OUT AND INSTALL MY SATALITE!

so LET ME ASK YOU, DO YOU LIVE IN THE SAME APARTMENT EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO VACATE OR THAT YOUR CONTRACT IS UP AND MUST MOVE????  DONT BE AN MORON PEOPLE HAVE TO MORE FOR THEIR OWN REASONS!  WHAT KIND OF MORON ARE YOU TO EVEN SUGGUEST BECAUSE I HAD TO MOVE, I AM IRRESPONSIBLE AND NOT A MATURE ADULT!

i BELIVE BY EVEN SUGGESTING THAT I AM STUPID FOR MOVING SHOULD TELL ME TO NOT EVEN BOTHER TO RESPOND BACK TO  AN IDIOT LIKE YOU!!

EXCUSE YOU, if you have problems and issues with your life, no need to be calling names and taking it out on me!

I am an adult and a very responsible one at that and MR KNOW IT ALL FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I have friends that had the same issues and their technician called into the company and had their contract cancElled.

 

I hope you take up yoga or meditation or  do something with your life instead of attacking and accusing PEOPLE and CALLING THEM NAMES, if you can't be civil than PLEASE refrain from wasting your breath and time by typing UNWANTED AND unnecessary responseS.

 How can you sit there and blame DISH for YOUR CHOICES??? From your own post you state........I moved to a new location.......RIGHT THERE is where YOU caused the issue. DISH had NO SAY in WHERE YOU CHOSE TO MOVE!!!!!! However you DID sign a contract and under the terms of said contract YOU are responsible for payment EVEN if they cant provide the services BECAUSE YOU MOVED!!!! YOU chose to move someplace that didnt get reception. THAT is NOT on DISH, THAT is on YOU!!!! Did you even think to contact DISH BEFORE you made your choice to move? No, probably not. Its MUCH EASIER to play the victim then to admit that YOU have screwed up. MUCH EASIER to play the victim then to admit to YOUR mistake. And THAT is all this is. YOU are entered into a contract at your previous residence, where you had service, and then moved to a place that didnt get service. Then instead of doing the ADULT AND RESPONSIBLE thing and pay out the contract that YOU SIGNED AND AGREED TO, YOU go on the web and try and make DISH look bad for the choices YOU MADE!!!!

What this tells EVERYONE is two things. The first thing is that YOU are NOT an adult. Or atleast you favor playing juvenile games instead of acting like an adult. The second thing it tells everyone is that YOU have no problem twisting the truth to suit YOUR situation. Lastly it tell everyone that YOU DIDNT READ WHAT YOU SIGNED!!!!! A VERY serious flaw in this world today. By NOT reading AND understanding what you have agreed to, YOU are not informed as to WHAT your rights are. Oh im sure you found a copy online and read it looking to find loopoholes YOU can use in order to get out of this. But the reality is that YOU agreed to all of this and NOW whiune and cry about it. Its NOT on DISH to ensure YOU recieve service in the new place YOU have chosen to move. THAT is on YOU the consumer. Get over it!! Downgrade the package so you get out of the contract clean, OR DONT!!!! But dont try and blast them on the web when this is 100% YOUR DOING!!!!Yes it sucks!!! Not very nice to have to pay for something you cant get. BUT!!!! You signed a legally binding CONTRACT without reading it, so ALL of this can be placed at YOUR doorstep. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. The same is true for contracts. If YOU signed it without reading it FULLY, then YOUR IGNORANCE is NOT an excuse to get out of said contract. YOU signed it ALL in good faith.
