In August of 2012 I was approached by Tina Chickering, and Michael Cipolla of Divinium Technologies, who offered to buy out my existing lease on a Kyosera copier (leased through GE), and to install a "Sharp MX-M264N" copier in my office. After some negotiations, and their assurance that this transaction was legitimate, I agreed to do this, and they funded this transaction through Marlin Bank. Divinium then removed the "Kyosera" copier, and delivered a "Sharp MX-M623N" copier. At the time it did not cross my mind to verify that the coper was different from the one we agreed to, as I never before had any issues with our leases.

Since then, things took a different turn. I will not bother you with the details of poor serice that Divinium provides, however,as I mentioed on the phone, The checks that I received from Divinium to buy out my GE lease and supplement my paymets to Marlin, turned out to be bad, and I am now also stuck with having to pay a bank fee for one bad check. I have not deposited the rest of the checks. My attempts to rectify this with Divinium thus far have not been successful, as I have been lied to repeatedly by Michael, who has broken every promise, verbal and written to replace the bad checks. Tina is no longer with Divinium, and apparently has her own ax to grind with them. Also according to Shanece, a secretary at Divinium, I am not an isolated case, as this seems to be their M.O.. Currently I am stuck with having to continue paying the GE lease, for a copier that is no longer in my possession, as well as having to pay Marlin twice the lease payment!

This is unacceptable, and I am filing complaints with all the appropriate State and Federal agencies. At this point I do not know who to believe, and I am concerned that since Marlin Bank is working with Divinium, that this was all planned.I am a small business, and I cannot afford to make all these payments, nor do I intend to do so. I will continue to make my payments to GE, since they have nothing to do with this.
