This site is a scam...went to renew my car registration and this site popped up looking similar to the ca dmv site it had all of my car info and when I went to pay, my registration was an additional $34.00 with processing fees etc...I was so pissed I canceled the transaction thinking the DMV had contracted with this company to process renewal registrations. I read reviews on how it was a rip off and I looked at my registration renewal form again and saw that I needed to be at DMV.CA.GOV (not DMV.ORG) and there was the REAL California DMV and no processing fees were charged...
Yes the scam DMV.Org has a big sign - "We are not a government agency"...however, this means nothing because government agencies often contract with private companies for services including utility payments, etc..however, what is point of this site when you can renew your registration with the real dmv WITHOUT processing fees....or use this scam site with outrageous processing fees...NO ONE WOULD DO THAT IF PAYING ATTENTION! Key point...DON'T USE DMV.ORG TO RENEW YOUR REGISTRATION...GO TO DMV.CA.ORG (IF IN CALIFORNIA)
